The JEE Main 2021 session 4 exam will commence from today, August 26. The exam will be held on August 26, 27, 31 and September 1, 2 in two shifts everyday. The morning shift will be conducted from 09:00 am to 12:00 noon and forenoon shift from 3:00 pm to 06:00 pm. The NTA has setup 828 exam centres in 334 cities across India and abroad for JEE Main 2021 4th attempt exam. The exam is conducted online as Computer Bases Test in 13 languages.

JEE Main 2021 session 4 will have Paper 1 for B.E./B.Tech and Paper 2 for B.Arch and B.Plan. Each paper will be of three hours duration with multiple choice and numerical value type questions, except for the drawing part of Paper 2. As the exam is being held amid the COVID-19 outbreak, special instructions for safety and hygiene of candidates have been issued and is available in JEE Main admit card 2021.

Important Instructions to Candidates
The NTA has issued important guidelines to candidates for exam day through JEE Main admit card and the same can be checked here.

  • Candidates need to report at the exam centre as per the reporting time mentioned in their admit card

  • Candidates should avoid gathering outside the exam centre and maintain distance of 6-feet with each other

  • Candidates have to carry face masks, gloves and sanitizers. Fresh face mask will be provided at the time of entry inside exam hall.

  • NO candidate will be allowed entry without admit card. Candidates need to bring their JEE Main admit card, one photo ID proof and a passport size coloured photograph

JEE Main Dress Code
The NTA has advised candidates regarding JEE Main dress code. Candidates should wear the dress only as per the guidelines

  • Candidates should wear light-weight, comfortable clothes to avoid any discomfort during the exam

  • Candidates are not allowed to wear metallic items like bracelets, chain, rings etc. or any kind of jewellery

  • Candidates are not allowed to wear goggles

  • Female candidates are not allowed to wear any kind of stole/dupatta or scarf

  • Female candiates are also not allowed to wear any kind of jewellery

  • Temperature of candidates will be measured using Thermo guns

  • Frisking of candidates will be done touch free with hand held metal detectors

  • Candidates will be provided fresh 3-ply face mask at the time of entry to exam centre

  • Sanitizers will be placed at entry gate and at various other places inside exam centre

  • Seating area including the computer screen, mouse, keyboard will be sanitised before and after every shift

  • Rough sheets will be kept at candidates seat before the commencement of exam

JEE Main 2021 session 4 is the last session, the other three held in February, March, and July. JEE Main admit card 2021 for session 4 can be downloaded from the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in JEE Main result 2021 for session 4 is expected to be announced by second week of September.

No. There is no qualifying percentile in JEE Main. However, the candidates who want to appear in JEE Advanced will have to get a minimum qualifying percentile in JEE Mains. This minimum qualifying percentile is announced with the JEE Main session 2 reult.
