The NTA will be conducting JEE Main 2021 session 4 exam from August 26. As the exam is scheduled amid COVID-19 pandemic, NTA has issued advisory for candidates for JEE Main 2021 consisting of rules, regulations and instructions to be followed at JEE Main exam centre. Candidates are provided these guidelines through JEE Main Admit card 2021.
As per the official instructions, NTA will implement adequate measures to ensure the health and safety of all candidates at the examination centre. Social distancing and other COVID-19 norms will be strictly followed as per Govt of India guidelines. Candidates are also required to adhere to the exam-day guidelines and other instructions mentioned in their JEE Main 2021 session 4 admit card.

JEE Main 2021 session 4 exam will be held on August 26, 27, 31 and September 1, 2 in more that 800 exam centres across the country and abroad. The session 4 exam will be conducted for Paper 1 for B.E./B.Tech and Paper 2 for B.Arch and B.Plan. The actual date and time of exam for the paper for which candidate will be appearing can be checked in hall ticket.
Instructions for Candidates
The following instructions have been provided by NTA which need to be followed by the candidates at the exam centre.

Candidates should reach at the examination centre only as per the time mentioned in the admit card to avoid crowd outside the exam centre.

Candidates need to follow social distancing norms and maintain a distance of 6-feet between each other

No candidate will be allowed to enter the examination hall without JEE Main 2021 admit card with filled undertaking, and valid ID proof.

Candidates will be allowed to carry only the following items inside the exam hall

Admit card with signed undertaking part, a valid photo ID

One passport sized photograph

Transparent water bottle
-
Hand sanitiser
-
Transparent ball point pen

Masks and gloves

Candidates who will be appearing for Drawing Paper will have to bring their own items required for the purpose of drawing
COVID-19 Guidelines and Preparations by NTA
The NTA will follow standard operating procedure as per the COVID-19 guidelines for implementing safety precautions and for maintaining the required hygiene. The following measures will be implemented at exam centre

Students will be frisked through hand-held metal detectors before entry to the exam hall

Candidates will be provided fresh mask at the time of entry inside the exam hall.

Thermo guns will be used to check the temperature of candidates

Hand sanitizers will be provided at the time of entry and at various places inside exam centre

Before the start of test, computer, mouse, keyboard and the entire seating area will be sanitized
-
The gap between two seats will be maintained as per social distancing norms

Rough sheets (6 in numbers) will be placed at the seat before the start of exam
The admit card of JEE Main 2021 session 4 has been released by NTA and is available for download in the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in. Candidates need to download and take its printout to be carried at the exam centre on the day of exam.
