5 Tips to get 99 Percentile Score in JEE Main 2025
1) Check JEE Main February and March Question Papers
Candidates who would be appearing in JEE Main 2025 exam must check previous year question papers. This would help them understand the difficulty level of the exam, topics which have been covered in exam with their weightage. Solving papers will also help them analyse their preparation level for the exam, mistakes they might be making and to eradicate them.

It is thus highly advised that students know the concepts of important chapters and solve questions on them. Candidates who have secured 100 percentiles in previous editions of JEE Main exam have said that NCERT books are a must-read to score high in the exam.
Mridul Agarwal, JEE Main 2021 February topper who scored 100 percentile with a perfect 300 score says, “My main focus for JEE Main was to cover the entire syllabus, study basic concepts, revise topics regularly and solve previous year papers and mock tests.”
NIT Andhra Pradesh BTech admission is based on candidates' performance in the JEE Main entrance exam, followed by the JoSAA counselling process. 3) Solve Previous Year Papers and Sample Question Papers
Previous year JEE Main question papers are very important as they will help analyze the difficulty level and topics with weightage of exam in past years. It will also help students analyze their preparation for the JEE Main. Topics that have been covered in past years must be thoroughly studied and revised. Solving JEE Main question papers will help understand the important topics that had been regularly asked in the exam in previous years.
4) Practice Mock Tests
Solving mock tests are very important in the preparation of JEE Main 2023 exam. It will help students boost their exam preparation. Mock test will also help students to understand their preparation level, mistakes they are making and methods to solve them. It will also help in proper time management to solve the exam. It is however advised that students solve JEE Main mock test in proper, real time resembling environment to get the most of it.
5) Practice Time Management
Many students face problem during the exam due to poor time management. The exam is of fixed duration but the difficulty level of questions vary. It is thus advised that students solve the questions consciously with assigning proper time to every subject and question. Any questions which is taking longer time then needed should be dropped as it would lead to less time for other questions.

National Testing Agency has released JEE Main 2025 admit card on the website jeemain.nta.nic.in. Students have to download their admit card from the website using their application number and password and take its printout. It is compulsory to carry JEE Main admit card to the exam centre failing which they will not be allowed to appear in the exam.

Candidates need not have 75 percent marks in class 12 for appearing in JEE Main. As per the official brochure released by the NTA, there is no minimum percentage required for appearing in the JEE Main. The requirement of 75 percent marks need not be associated with appearing in the JEE Main exam.
It is to be understood that 75 percent marks is required for admission to institutes which include NITs, IIITs, GFTIs and IITs. Many institutes offer admission at 60% and even less, along with JEE Main. Candidates must clearly understand that the requirement of 75 percent marks in class 12 is only for taking admission in the institutes.
