When I was in 11th, one of my relative told me about Textile Engineering and its scope in the future. As I was strong in Chemistry, I decided to get into Textile Trade and my relative helped me gather all the information regarding the course and field. As everyone knows, Chemical Engineering is different from other branches. It is offered in very less colleges. My branch is sub-branch of Chemical Engineering. So there is scope in it. What makes it different is that competition is somewhat less than any other branche like Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, etc. My relative gave me all the information and told me not to worry about the scope in future. This branch will really give me a good platform to showcase my skills in fabrics, as well as business in future.
How I cracked college admission
I gave JEE Mains exam. The cut-offs were good at that time. I got admission in first round with above 80 percentile in my category. I got to know about Veermata Jijabai Technology Institute (VJTI), Mumbai from few of my seniors. I was trying my level best to get admission in Institute of Chemical Technology (ICT), Mumbai as well as other IITs. The famous colleges in Maharashtra like Vishwakarma Institute of Technology, Pune, BITS Pilani etc, were also on my list. But my priority was to take admission in a government college so that it would be helpful for me in my future. My seniors gave me a lot of idea about campus placements, where is the college situated, teaching staff and other things. So, I took admission in this college which turned out to be the best decision in my career.

My college life: classes, extra-curricular activities and more
I did my best to fortify my career. Learnings from my college and my hard work helped me a lot. I was involved in various sports events in my college. Participating in these sports activities helped me lot to develop my skills that I can showcase in my company also. By conducting various events in college, I developed leadership qualities.
At college, I was also given an award for taking part in co-curricular activities. I was also given Ideal Student Award.
Coming to time management, one should always remember time never comes back, you should create time and grab the opportunity. These opportunities make us a better person.

Honestly, going for CSE at Chandigarh University with your score sounds like a solid choice. I'm saying this because CU has become a hub for tech placements and internships, and the environment is pretty competitive in a good way. Your 88 percentile in JEE Main could also land you a scholarship, whi

Yes. Students with valid JEE Main scores can apply for admissions through the WBJEE counselling. However, these students will be eligible for allotment only in the 10% approved seats offered by the self-financing colleges and institutes participating in the state-level counselling.

Yes the SRMJEEE paper pattern is similar to JEE Main however, the difficulty level is not equivalent to JEE main and the question paper is adjusted to moderate level difficulty level which will be easy for most students.
