There are many other colleges which will provide good facilities or even are better than SRM. These are definitely worth trying for.
Is your SRMJEEE score not up to your expectations or so low that you cannot get admission? You have to think deeply about your next step because that will help you decide your future.
Here in this article I will tell you the options you have if your SRMJEEE score is low or below your expectations.
Dropping a Year
This option is the riskiest you have because dropping a whole year in the current situation is really a big deal. Right now, every student wants to settle in life as soon as possible, so a whole year does matter a lot. Before choosing this, options you have to consider some facts like are you really want to do it.
Explore popular B.Tech colleges for you
Look, I know right now you have a lot of pressure on you from your parents as well as from society. However, the thing you should have in your mind is that it is your life and you are the one who should stand by yourself. If you really want to get admission in SRM desperately then dropping a year for the preparation for the next year exam would be an option for you but if not then you do have other options, which may be best for you.
Try Other Colleges
There are many other colleges which will provide good facilities or even better than SRM. According to me, you will surely try in some other colleges, which are actually better than SRM. Here are some of them:
- Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS)
- Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology (TIET)
- Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT)
- Amity University
- Manipal University
Wait for Subsequent Counselling Sessions
I am not denying that there are some chances of getting admission during subsequent counselling sessions but you cannot just wait for that because there is no guarantee that you will get admission surely. Therefore, you have to start considering other options because I do not think so that anyone of you wants to waste your one prestigious year.
I know that college matter a lot right now but the main things are your performance in engineering and your academics score, so you should take the admission in some other universities if you do not get it in SRM because at the end your focus and your dedication are the main criteria to decide your future.

No, the fees is not stable for 4 years. You should carry a certain CGPA throughout 4 years like 7.5 or 8.0 as mentioned by SRMAP.
