The first step would be to self analyse what you could have done to do better and if you are willing or not to put in more hard work to achieve what you started off to do.
There is a lot of pressure and tension in the students when it comes to JEE exam. A lot of parents' expectations ride on the performance of their child in this exam. I am sure that everyone writing this exam has faced these expectations and the dread of failure that comes with it. A lot of students are thinking right now about their future. Some students have been advised by their parents and teachers to do their best and not to think about the result, but how can we not when our future depends on it?
There is a lot of pressure on the students these days to get into prestigious colleges and to become engineers. But, what if the result is not at par with the expectations? Should the student drop an entire year to prepare and face the sharks again? Or should the student choose a different career path? I am sure a lot of students are thinking of plan B, the career path they would go with if all is lost. But, when all is said and done, 'Is all lost'? The result, no matter how much hard work we may put in, might not be enough to get you to the place you want. So, what should be your next step?

The first step would be to self analyse what you could have done to do better and if you are willing or not to put in more hard work to achieve what you started off to do. There is always hope and where there are determination and hard work, nothing is impossible. Go ahead and prepare for the next year with all you have to succeed and fulfill your dreams.
However, if you think that you do not want to write JEE Mains exam, you can always look for private colleges that offer these courses and conduct their own exams. There are many such colleges with good academic professionals that could guide you. Some of the most well-known private colleges are BITS, VIT, Manipal University, SRM college, etc. There is another avenue of changing your career path and choosing a different method to fulfill your goal.
There are many colleges that offer basic science courses that allow you to enter the research area and to advance in that field. There are other courses as well.
A special course offered by IIM Indore, a five-year Integrated Programme in Management (IPM), leads to a combined undergraduate-cum-graduate Diploma. One can apply directly for this course after 12th. Such courses allow gaining direct entry to prestigious colleges through special exams. There are other such colleges that allow admission through means other than JEE Mains. Always do your research and plan ahead. Always remember, if an opportunity for success doesn't knock, build a door on your own.

With a JEE Main percentile of 90.94 and CRL rank ~1.4 Lacs (female, general category), you have realistic chances in mid-tier NITs (later rounds), state government colleges, and strong private universities in Tamil Nadu and Bangalore for ECE/EEE. With a JEE Main CRL rank of ~79,364 and an EWS category rank of ~11,884, you have a realistic chance of securing CSE in several mid-tier NITs, newer IIITs, and some GFTIs. Top NITs (Trichy, Surathkal, Warangal, Allahabad) are out of reach, but options like NIT Jalandhar, NIT Hamirpur, IIIT Kota, III
