How to book slots or VITEEE 2026: Candidates who have registered for exam can access the slot booking link at vit.ac.in. VITEEE 2026 slot booking window was open till April 19 (5:00 pm). Candidates who have booked their slots can download their admit card 48 hours before allotted exam date. VIT Vellore closed VITEEE slot booking 2026 process. Candidates can now visit official website to vit.ac.in to access OTBS to book their exam slot and date. VITEEE slot booking process follows first-come-first-serve method.
To book a slot for VIT exam, students had to login at VITEEE OTBS portal. Once slot is booked, students can download VIT exam 2026 admit card from the portal (48 hours before allotted test date). Students must note that slot booking window remained active for a limited period of time (April 19- 5 pm). VITEEE registration has been completed. What is VIT 2026 slot booking?
Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Examination slot booking is an online process, where students can book their VITEEE 2026 exam date, and download admit card to attempt exam. It follows “first-come-first-serve” process and are subject to availability of date and time. After completing slot booking, candidates will have to download their confirmation mail (received at registered email ID). The confirmation email contains details reagarding the name, exam date and time, subject name, etc.

Yes, Vellore Institute of Technology provide mock test for VITEEE before the exam date. Candidates who have registered for the exam can take VITEEE mock test for free using dummy credentials.

Which VIT slot is better?
Based on the previous year's analysis and shift-wise VITEEE difficulty level, here's what we have assumed -
- Try to book as early as possible, as the seats fill up first.
- Opt for an exam slot that you are more comfortable with.
- Try booking slot within the first two to three days. According to VITEEE 2025 paper analysis, slot 2 shift has been moderately tough. Therefore, early slots (shift 1, specifically) can be beneficial.

However, with negative marking introduced this year and time-constraints, the question solving mainly depends on accuracy. As per exam pattern, candidates need to solve 125 questions in 150 minutes.
No, VIT does not allow students to change their selected branches or campuses after admission. Candidates are therefore advised to read the counselling instructions carefully before submitting their choices.
Students will be able to download the VITEEE result in the form of a rank card. Once the result is displayed after logging in, the result can be downloaded as a VITEEE rank card. During the admission process, a print out of the rank card will be required.

How to book slots for VITEEE Exam?
The VITEEE slot booking process can be checked below
- Visit official website- viteee.vit.c.in
- Create an account and sign in using log in credentials
- Select test city. It must be noted that candidates can choose only one test city for booking (It must be the same as the one chosen on application form)
- Then select exam date and time.
- Cross-check details and submit
NOTE: The test city once selected cannot be edited or changed. At the time of filling VITEEE application form, students must provide their native state, current address state, and school state accurately.

Once VITEEE exam slot is booked, students will receive a confirmation email on their registered e-mail ID. The admit card of VITEEE was available for download 48 hours prior to slot booking. However, for candidates who have not booked, their slots will be generated based on the information provided in application form and exam slot.

VITEEE Admit Card 2026
VITEEE 2026 admit card was made available two days (48 hours) before booked exam date. The hall ticket comprises details about exam and candidate, such as test date and time, centre address, application number, signature and photo of applicant.
