Engineering Colleges accepting JEE Main for B.Tech in India

For the General category under the Home State quota, the WBJEE 2025 cutoff for CSE was 7687 in the last round. In the first round, the cutoff rank stood at 7394. To view the category-wise cutoff details, refer to the table below. 

GCECT accepts the WBJEE entrance exam for selecting students for the B.Tech. course.

Mizoram University offers admission to its BTech courses on entrance score basis. Aspirants who are Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with at least 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for SC/ ST) can apply. Candidates can apply in online mode through the official website. For offline applications, students can reach out to the admission office. The selection in the course is further done based on MZUEEE/ JEE Main followed by CSAB Counselling. 

R.V.S College of Engineering and Technology - RVSCET has courses such as B.Tech, M.E./M.Tech, MCA to offer. These courses are in the stream of Engineering, IT & Software. As per the verified Shiksha sources, the average package offered to BE graduates at ACS College of Engineering is INR 3 lakh. On the other hand, the average package provided to the BE graduates at BMS College of Engineering ranges from INR 7 Lacs to INR 9 lakh. Hence, among the BMSCE and ACSCE, the BMSCE offers the highest average placement packages for BE graduates.

Eyesight is a critical factor for safety at sea. For B.Sc. Nautical Science, you must have 6/6 vision in both eyes without spectacles. South Asian University considers JEE Main scores for admission to BTech programme. However, it is not compulsory. Aspirants can also get admission based on their SAU Entrance Test scores. It is a test conducted by the university for admission to BTech and other UG, PG and PhD programmes. Those who are selected have to confirm their seat by paying the programme fee.
