IIM Calcutta conducted CAT 2024 exam and had set a moderately tough paper for aspirants. The number of questions were increased in DILR from 20 to 22, in 2024. Section wise, the difficulty level and composition of CAT 2024 slot 3 question paper was same as slot 1 and 2. VARC section was moderate, DILR was tough and Quantitative Aptitude was moderate.

In CAT 2024 Slot 3 Question Paper, Reading comprehension covered 16 questions and verbal ability covered 8 questions. In DILR section, there were 3 DI sets and 2 LR sets. The Quantitative Ability section had maximum questions from Arithmetic as always.

In CAT Quantitative Aptitude, Arithmetic has the highest weightage with 7-8 questions in every shift. In VARC, Reading Comprehension has the maximum weightage with about 16 questions. In DILR, the number of questions are equally distributed.

As of September 2026, IIM Indore has not announced the CAT form correction dates. Past trends indicate that the application form correction window opens a few weeks after the registration window is closed.

IIM Indore has not announced the last date extension for CAT 2026 yet. However, past trends indicate CAT registration extends by a few days. If CAT 2026 registration is extended, candidates will find an update on the official website.
