CAT 2024 question paper of slot 3 was moderately tough. IIM Calcutta had prepared the test papers that year. The number of CAT questions were increased in DILR from 20 to 22, in 2024, but the timings remained unchanged. CAT if following the same pattern since then. Section wise, the difficulty level and composition of CAT 2024 slot 3 question paper was same as slot 1 and 2. VARC section was moderate, DILR was tough and Quantitative Aptitude was moderate. In CAT 2024 Slot 3 Question Paper, Reading comprehension covered 16 questions and verbal ability covered 8 questions. In DILR section, there were 3 DI sets and 2 LR sets. The Quantitative Ability section had maximum questions from Arithmetic as always.

CAT 2024 Question Paper Analysis Slot 3

CAT 2024 question paper analysis of slot 3 indicates, it overall a moderate paper. The RC passages were of 400-450 words; difficulty level was easy to moderate. The DILR section of CAT 2024 slot 3 was slightly tougher than slot 1 and 2. Quantitative Aptitude section was the easiest.

Q: Which topics have the highest weightage in CAT exam?

In CAT Quantitative Aptitude, Arithmetic has the highest weightage with 7-8 questions in every shift. In VARC, Reading Comprehension has the maximum weightage with about 16 questions. In DILR, the number of questions are equally distributed.
