BITS Design School Admission 2025

BITS Design School (BITSDES) has started accepting admissions application forms for the second batch of its 4-year Bachelor of Design (Honours) programme. BITSDES applications 2025 for BDesign admission can be filled till January 31. Applicants must submit scores from NID-DAT Prelims, UCEED, or the BITS Design Aptitude Test (BITSDAT), which will be held from March 31 to April 5, 2025.

The longlist based on test scores will be announced by April 14, 2025, followed by portfolio evaluations that will be done from April 21 to 28. Further, all the shortlisted candidates have to appear for online interviews that are scheduled from May 2 to 12, 2025. The time for the interview will be shared later.

BITS Design School Bachelor of Design Programme

The programme adopts a humanity-centred design approach, offering five specialized pathways: Physical Product Design, Digital Product Design (UX/UI), Design Research and Insights, Experience Design, and Visual Design. BITS Design School integrates theory with practice through strong industry connections and structured mentorship by design professionals starting from the first year.

With celebrated design leaders on its advisory board, BITS Design School has established itself in the design industry through impactful collaborations and engagements. Notably, the school hosted the Don Norman tour in Bengaluru (in partnership with DesignUp), Pune (with the Association of Designers of India), and Delhi (with Lopez Design).

In partnership with Aalto University, ranked #6 globally for Art & Design by QS Rankings, BITS Design School co-develops its curriculum and conducts annual reviews, along with facilitating free mover student exchanges. Additionally, a collaboration with Arizona State University enables student and faculty exchanges, joint research programs, and collaborative projects.
