JAC Chandigarh 2025: Round 3 Choice Filling, Seat Allotment, Dates (OUT), Cutoff, Documents Needed

All the JAC Chandigarh registered candidates are required to submit their choices of Institute and Branch in order of their preference. Candidates are required to submit a single set of combined choices for Engineering & Architecture streams if they are eligible for both streams. The choice filling is OPTIONAL for those candidates who are eligible only for Architecture as per JEE (Main)-2025. Only one choice of Architecture in CCA shall be considered automatically after successful registration.

Candidates can fill in as many numbers of choices in the order of preference, as they wish to, from the list of available choices. Also, candidates are permitted, if they so desire, to change or re-order their choices, delete earlier choices and add new choices any number of times until they lock their final set of choices.

Choice Locking & Printing of Locked Choices: Candidates MUST lock their choices only after they have finalised them, but in any case, before the last date & time. The locking of choices involves a few steps after the LOCK button is clicked. This includes re-entering the password and confirming the locking. The candidate should ensure that he has followed all the steps carefully to complete the locking procedure. If a candidate fails to lock the choices by the last date and time explicitly, the last saved choices will be automatically locked after the deadline. The candidate can login again to view the locked choices. However, the locked choices cannot be modified or altered.

All registered Candidates of General and reserved categories, who wish to avail the benefit of any one or more of the above-mentioned categories, should upload their category certificates for document verification before the last date as per the schedule mentioned on the website.

Seat allotment and acceptance: All the choices submitted by candidates during JAC Chandigarh Counselling shall be processed centrally and the seat allotment results will be available on the website. The successfully allotted candidates are required to pay the seat acceptance fee and submit the willingness for upgradation for the subsequent rounds, failing which the allotted seat will automatically be cancelled and the candidate will not be considered for subsequent rounds except for Special and Spot Round of Counselling.

Physical reporting: Candidates are not required to go for Physical reporting after seat allotment. Payment of fee using any one of the modes (Debit Card/Credit Card/ Internet banking/UPI/e-Challan) and online submission of willingness for the subsequent rounds will be treated as reporting against the allotted seat. Such candidates are required to report at the allotted institute after the third Round of Counselling.

JAC or Joint Admission Committee conducts admissions to BE, BArch, Integrated BE (Chemical), MBA courses offered by the listed below institutes in Chandigarh based on JEE Main scores and pass percentage secured in Class XII or equivalent examination. The admission process is popularly known as JAC Chandigarh admissions. Since admissions are based on All India Ranks of JEE Main, there is no entrance exam. Authentication - Candidates have to enter these details to authenticate themselves:

• JEE Main application number
• Candidate’s Name
• Mother’s Name

After successful authentication, they can create their login credentials [JEE Main Application number will be the login id, and the candidate should create a password] and provide contact information (email ID and Mobile number).
