The Central University of Tamil Nadu (CUTN), in collaboration with Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International School of Textiles and Management (SVPISTM), Coimbatore, is closing its online registration for postgraduate (PG) admissions for the 2025-26 academic session today, June 9, 2025, at midnight.
Candidates who appeared for CUET PG 2025 must register on the Samarth Online Admission Portal (cutncuet.samarth.edu.in/pg) to be considered for admission to various PG programs.
Important Details
CUET PG 2025: The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted the CUET PG 2025 in March and April, 2025, with results announced on May 13, 2025. Candidates can download their scorecards from cuetpg.ntaonline.in/scorecard.
Registration Window: Open from May 14, 2025, to June 9, 2025 (today). Only candidates registered on the Samarth portal will be considered for admission.
Programs Offered: CUTN offers PG programs across 13 schools and 28 departments, including MA (Economics, English, Tamil, Hindi), MSc (Mathematics, Computer Science, Applied Psychology), MBA, MCom, LLM, and more. SVPISTM offers specialized textile and management programs.
Eligibility:
Valid CUET PG 2025 score in subjects aligned with the chosen program.
Bachelor’s degree with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwBD) from a recognized university.
Program-specific requirements must be verified on cutn.ac.in.
Application Process:
Register on cutncuet.samarth.edu.in/pg using personal details, CUET PG 2025 application number, and a valid email/phone number.
Upload required documents: CUET PG scorecard, bachelor’s degree certificates, category certificates (if applicable), passport-size photo, and signature.
Candidates unable to upload certificates must submit a handwritten undertaking on plain paper.
Pay the registration fee:
General/OBC-NCL/EWS: ₹250 (registration) + ₹100 (program selection).
SC/ST: ₹150 (registration) + ₹50 (program selection).
PwD/Transgender: No fee.
Verify details before submission, as discrepancies with the CUET PG scorecard will lead to rejection.
Counseling and Merit Lists:
Merit lists will be based on CUET PG 2025 scores and published in late July 2025 on cutn.ac.in.
Counseling (online or offline at CUTN’s Thiruvarur campus) is expected in August 2025, followed by document verification and fee payment.
Important Notes:
CUTN is not responsible for network connectivity issues during registration.
Candidates must regularly check cutn.ac.in for updates on merit lists and counseling schedules.
