CUET UG Datesheet 2026
The National Testing Agency will conduct Common University Entrance Test for admission to undergraduate and some integrated courses at participating central, state, private, government, or deemed universities/colleges. For admission cycle 2026-27, the exam will be conducted across 321 exam centres in 13 mediums on multiple days.

CUET UG 2026 Reporting Time
Candidates are advised to reach their allotted CUET exam centre at least 2 hours before the exam. The National Testing Agency also officially specifies the reporting time and gate closing time on a candidate's admit card. According to last year, the reporting time for morning shift is 7 AM and for evening shift is 1 PM. All examination centres close their entry gate 30 minutes before the exam time.
To avoid the last-minute rush and hassle, candidates should reach the centre according to reporting time as they have to get their frisking and other formalities done before exam starts and these things may take time.

Common University Entrance Test/ CUET UG is an entrance exam. It is conducted for admission to UG programs offered by various central, state, private and deemed universities. Candidates willing to take admission to undergraduation programme in streams like Science, Humanities, Commerce, Law and Management must appear for CUET UG exam when conducted.
This entrance examination assesses candidates at various levels: Language, domain knowledge and general aptitude. CUET UG is conducted annually in computer based mode. CUET UG scores are accepted by more than 300 universities across India.
Candidates must reach alloted CUET exam centre two hours before mentioned exam time. Candidates must complete verification process and take their seats immediately after the opening of examination hall. If the candidates does not report at alloted CUET exam centre on time due to traffic, delay in transport, important instructions to appear for the exam can be missed.
CUET exam centre is allocated on the basis of the preferences entered by the candidate while filling the CUET application form. NTA allotes exam centre as per the preference entered and is subject to availability and logistical consideration.
While filling the CUET application form, candidates can select four cities of their choice. Choice of CUET exam centre cities will be limited to the State of permanent address or State of present address only. Even if a candidate prepares well for the exam, his/her hard work can go to waste if they do not follow the exam day guidelines set by the National Testing Agency. Students have to follow the below important CUET 2026 exam day guidelines:
- Candidates must arrive at CUET exam centre 90 minutes before the exam starts.
- Candidates must cooperate with the authorities during the frisking process.
- No entry will be given to candidates who arrive after the gate closing time. So, leave early to avoid traffic.
- Candidates must take their assigned seats only.
- Verify that the question paper matches the subject you have opted for. If it is different, report it to the invigilator.
- Carry a printed admit card and a valid photo ID (original and non-expired).
- NTA will not reschedule the exam for any candidate who misses the test. So, reach the exam centre before the closing of the gates.
- Do not bring prohibited items.
- Carry a transparent bottle and a ballpoint pen.
