Q: What type of questions will be present in the AMUEEE paper?

As per the AMUEEE exam pattern, the paper will consist of objective multiple-choice questions. Each question will have four options, out of which the correct one has to be selected by the candidates. All questions will be based on the official AMUEEE syllabus. Since the entrance exam is a pen-and-paper-based test, the correct option has to be marked carefully on the OMR sheet.

It is also to be noted that those candidates having professional experience of Government/ Semi-Government/ Public Sector Undertakings of India after passing Diploma in Engineering will be additionally awarded 2.5 marks for each year of professional experience subject to a maximum of 25 marks.

AMUEEE 2026 Exam Pattern (BTech)

According to the AMUEEE exam pattern 2026 for BTech, the paper will be held as an offline test. During the three-hour exam, the candidates will have to attempt 150 objective multiple-choice questions. There will be three sections - Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. For every correct answer, one mark will be given and for every wrong answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted.

Is the AMUEEE cutoff different for every category?

The AMUEEE cutoff will vary as per the category and courses selected by the students. There are chances that the cutoff will be higher for popular courses. General category students are also expected to have higher cutoffs than reserved category students.
