BHU BTech Eligibility & Highlights 2025
BHU BTech is a four-year programme offered in a full-time mode. This admission was based on students' performance in BHU-UET.. For BHU BTech course admission, candidates need to register for CUET.

BHU BTech Admission Dates 2025
Since last year, the university has been admitting candidates to the UG programme based on merit in CUET-UG. Thus, the aspirants shall stay updated with the CUET-UG dates for BHU. BHU BTech Admission 2025: How to Apply?
The admission to the UG course is entrance-based. Before proceeding with admission formalities, the aspirants shall ensure that they meet the eligibility requirements. BHU admission is a multi-step process that includes registration, appearing for the exam, the release of the cutoff list, and counselling. The steps to be followed for the BHU BTech course admission are:
STEP 1: BHU BTech Application Process 2025
The BHU application process is conducted online through the official website of NTA. For a successful application submission, candidates need to pay an application fee of INR 650 (General/ OBC Category)/ INR 550 (SC/ST Category). The application process consists of the following steps:
- Visit the official website of CUET-UG and click on the 'New Registration' tab.
- Fill out the application form with all the mandatory details, such as personal and educational qualifications, etc.
- Upload the scanned photograph and signature as per the prescribed specifications.
- Select courses and Universities as per your preference and pay the CUET application fee as mentioned above.
STEP 2: Selection Process
Candidates are shortlisted by the university based on CUET scores. Shortlisted students have to go through a counselling round for seat allotment.
STEP 3: Admission Confirmation
The students who get selected need to submit important documents and pay the course fee. Fee payment is necessary for seat confirmation. BHU BTech tuition fee ranges from INR 37,300 to INR 10 lakh. BHU BTech Cutoff 2024
BHU BTech cutoff for the third round based on the JEE Adavcaned has been released. As per that, BTech in Computer Science and Engineering emerged as the most competitive specialisation with a closing rank of 1043. BHU BTech Curriculum
BTech is a four-year course, which is spread across eight semesters. In the first year of the course, students are taught basic Science subjects, such as Physics, Mathematics, etc. From the second year, the subjects are more specialisation-specific.
