LUMET 2025 Exam: Application Form, Know Dates, Eligibility, Syllabus, Pattern

Lucknow University Management Entrance Test (LUMET) is a university level entrance exam held annually for admission to MBA/MTTM programmes at Lucknow University. Candidates having valid CAT exam score can apply for MBA admission directly. Last year, the Lucknow University renamed LUMET.

The entrance exam is a MCQ based test, in which there will be 100 questions on General Awareness, English Verbal Ability & Comprehension, Data Interpretation & logical Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude. The time duration of LUMET is 90 minutes.

Candidates selected on the basis of CAT/LUMET score will be invited for Personal Interview (PI) round. The final selection will be based on candidate's entrance exam score and performance in PI. CAT/LUMET carries 70 points and PI carries 30 points.

Candidates who wish to appear for the entrance test, must fulfill the following LUMET eligibility criteria:

• The candidate must have completed graduation in any stream with 10+2+3 system from any University recognized by University Grants Commission
• The candidate must have secured a minimum of 50 per cent aggregate ( 45 per cent for SC/ST candidates) at graduation level
• Candidates who are appearing in the qualifying examination in the current year can apply for admission but they should fulfill all eligibility conditions on the day of admission.

Step 1: Fill in the LUMET Application Form 2025

Candidates are required to to fill an online application form to register for the exam. The LUMET 2025 application form is available at the official website. Candidates must fill the form only if they meet the minimum eligibility criteria:

LUMET 2025 registration fee is as follows:

• For candidates belonging to General and OBC category: INR 1,600
• For candidates belonging to SC and ST categories: INR 800

Candidates can choose to pay the fee from any of the following modes:

• Credit Card
• Debit Card
• Net Banking

Step 2: Download LUMET Admit Card 2025

Candidates who register successfully for the exam will be issued LUMET 2025 admit card. The same will be available online and candidates can download it from the official website of Lucknow University a few days before the exam. To access the LUMET hall ticket, the candidate will require to key in their registration number and password in the login window of the exam website.

Step 3: Appear for LUMET 2025

LUMET is conducted in offline mode. It is a 90-minute test having 100 MCQs. The questions are asked from Communication Ability, Aptitude & Reasoning, General Awareness, and Quantitative Aptitude. LUMET is an easy test. Candidates will have to appear for the exam at the university campus.

Step 4: Check LUMET Result 2025

LUMET 2025 result will be released online and candidates can check their scorecards by visiting the official website of Lucknow University. The results can be accessed by entering the login ID and password.

 Step 5: Personal Interview

Candidates who will appear in the entrance test will have to appear for an interview for final selection. The final selection of candidates will be done collectively on the basis of the scores obtained in LUMET/CAT/CMAT and the performance in the Personal Interview.

Step 6: Merit List announcement

An overall combined merit list of all candidates for the personal interview will be released online and will be made available in the concerned Departments of the university too.
