UPESEAT (UPES Engineering Aptitude Test) is the university-level entrance examination conducted by UPES for admission to its undergraduate BTech programmes. The exam is conducted online and evaluates candidates for admission across various engineering specialisations offered by the university.

Apart from UPESEAT, UPES also offers admission through other recognised pathways such as JEE Main, Board Merit, SAT and CUET-UG for eligible candidates. Depending on the programme and admission route, candidates may be exempted from appearing for UPESEAT if they fulfil the prescribed eligibility conditions.

UPES is conducting the UPESEAT registration 2027 online. Those who seek admission to BTech programmes at UPES can apply only through the online mode at upes.ac.in. The application process involves registration, form-filling, document upload and payment of fees. UPESEAT 2027 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must satisfy the following eligibility conditions to appear for UPESEAT:

For BTech Mathematics and Computing, candidates must have secured at least 70% marks in Class X and XII along with 70% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in Class XII.

UPESEAT 2027 Application Form

To submit the UPESEAT application form, candidates have to complete multiple processes. Incomplete applications or forms submitted without payment of the application fee will not be accepted. The last date to submit the UPESEAT application from 2027 will be announced soon.

UPESEAT 2027 Application Fee

Candidates preparing for UPESEAT 2027 should be familiar with the latest exam pattern and syllabus before starting their preparation. The University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES) conducts UPESEAT in an online mode. Candidates should prepare according to the latest syllabus and exam pattern to improve their chances of admission.

• Complete the NCERT Class 11 and 12 syllabus first.

• Prepare a daily timetable covering all four sections.

• Revise formulas and important concepts regularly.

Candidates preparing for UPESEAT 2027 should practise the sample papers to understand the exam pattern and improve their speed and accuracy. Since the examination is conducted in multiple phases, UPES does not generally release an official question paper or answer key after every phase. Candidates are advised to solve multiple full-length UPESEAT sample papers before the exam to improve time management and become familiar with the online testing environment. 

UPES releases the UPESEAT 2027 admit card (exam login credentials/passkey) online for successfully registered candidates. UPESEAT is conducted as a remote-proctored online examination. Therefore, candidates are not allotted any physical exam centre or city. Instead, candidates receive the exam login credentials on their registered email ID and mobile number one day before the selected exam date. Students can appear for the test from their home.
