1. IIT BHU Application Process 2025
Candidates seeking admission at IIT BHU are required to complete the application form for the course-specific entrance exam. 2. IIT BHU Selection Criteria 2025

The dates for JoSAA counselling 2026 choice filling will be announced once the result of JEE Main 2026 is declared. Candidates can fill choices only during the choice filling period. Also, candidates need to lock their choices before the last date.
The students who wants to get admission into BHU IIT, Varanasi must meet the minimum eligibility criteria for the course. They must appear and clear the JEE Mains and JEE Advanced exams to qualify for further admission process. For the BTech course admission students must complete class 12th from recognised board with minimum 75% marks. Then they must appear for JoSAA councelling process.

GATE Qualifying Cutoff: It is minimum mark a candidate must score so that he or she is eligible for admission. But this does not mean that a candidate is selected for admission. Actually, it is fixed before announcement of GATE results. It is announced by conducting IIT and available on GOAPS. It includes qualifying marks for each paper.
Admission GATE Cutoffs: It is final opening and closing rank score fixed by participating institutes for selection of candidates. It is to be noted here that meeting admission GATE cutoff does not mean that candidates will be selected for admission. It is fixed after GATE result date. It is declared by individual participating institutes and available on their respective counselling portals (CCMT/ COAP).

IIT BHU MTech Admissions 2025
Indian Institute of TechnologyBHU offers a two-year MTech programme, which is spread across four semesters. BTech graduates, fulfilling the eligibility criteria can apply for any of the seven MTech specialisations. IIT BHU MTech admission is through the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE). As part of the admission procedure, the prospective candidates must also take a Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE). However, BTech qualified in IITs with an overall CGPA of 8.00 or above in 10 point scale are exempted with regard to the GATE and are directly eligible to the process. It is also worth mentioning that the minimum eligibility requirements are as well mandatory to the candidates who would like to join IIT BHU MTech programme in 2025.
To be eligible for the M.Tech programme at IIT BHU the aspiring candidates need to have a minimum of 60% in BTech. Aspirants with a score equal to or more than the cutoff also have to go through a counselling round. Once selected, aspirants have to pay a course fee to confirm their seat in the institute.
IIT BHU accepts JEE Advanced score, followed by JoSAA Counselling for admission to the BTech courses. IIT BHU cutoff 2023 was concluded after Round 6 of the JEE Advanced Seat Allotment Result.
