Q:   How do I prepare for the TMISAT exam?
A:

Preparation Tips: You need to know the complete syllabus and exam pattern very well. You need to keep your concepts clear while preparing for any exam. One thing which I would like to suggest is that start solving tough questions because if you can solve tough questions then any paper would be easy for you. Still, the exam focused on some topics very much like Physics: SAM, Gravitation Laws of Motion Waves Simple harmonic Motion Gravitation fluid mechanics. Maths Trigonometry Calculus, and its applications, matrices, Probability (VVI), etc. Now coming to an interview, it mostly depends on luck just make sure you have a positive attitude please do not be extravagant during the interview, and answer a question only when you are sure. And if you do not know any questions don't use vague answers it's better to say no. So just make sure that the basis of all those important chapters is clear to you and try to score at least 35 plus out of 60 on the online tests and just be confident in the interview. Commonly asked questions
Q:   What is the level of TMISAT? Is it of the same level as IMUCET?
A:
IMUCET is the entrance examination for colleges affiliated to IMU whereas TMI has its own screening test called TMISAT. The intention is to check your basic knowledge in science, maths and English, aptitude additionally. If you are well versed with what you learnt in class 12, I don't think you need much preparation. As far as English is concerned, you need to work on your grammar. Even if you manage to clear the English exam, with poor English you wouldn’t be able to sustain the interview. Students who are weak in English but have an excellent academic record are considered and are usually called a week before the sessions begin for English tutorials in TMI. Comparing both TMISAT and IMUCET is irrelevant as both of them hold equal integrity. The only thing I would say is you need not prepare separately provided you have studied well for the boards.
Q:   What is the duration of TMISAT?
A:

In TMISAT, the main test is of 90 minutes duration followed by behavioral assessment of 30 minutes. The online test has a multiple-choice format covering Physics, Mathematics, Analytical and Logical Reasoning. The questions are of 10+2 level. There is one section each with a negative marking in Physics and Mathematics. The duration of the test is 90 minutes.
