Q. What is the name of the school you studied at?

A, I passed out from Pragati Public Scholl Dwarka, New Delhi.

Q. Did you take any coaching classes? Since when?

A. Yes, I took coaching from Akash Institute to prepare for JEE Mains exam. I started the Aakash Institute coaching classes when I was in Class XI.

Q. What was your JEE Main 2021 preparation strategy? Which subject did you focus on more and why?

A. To be honest, there was no one thing that I followed. I did what my mentors told me to do. However, I studied thoroughly from the NCERT.  I had to focus on all subjects as you cannot ignore one over the other. Equal weightage has to be given to ace the exam.

I focused on all three subjects - Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics equally.

Q: Which books did you refer to while preparing for JEE Main 2021 exam?

A. I studied from the material provided and the NCERT. However, I would suggest the following books as well:

  • Physics: H C Verma, Problems in IITJEE by Sashi Bhushan Tiwari
  • Mathematics: Coaching Materials
  • Chemistry: Organic – MS Chauhan, Inorganic – Cengage, Physical Chemistry – Neeraj Kumar

Q. What is your future plan?

A. My primary focus is on JEE Advanced 2021 and scoring good marks in the exam. I would like to do Computer Science in Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.

Q. What will be your message to future aspirants?

A. It is important to work hard for any exam. There are no shortcuts. When you are prepared for the exam, you should not leave anything behind. If you are confident then you can handle any situation and circumstances. Following the mentors, teachers from coaching classes and taking their advice is necessary.
