1. Understand basic concepts: You must complete your NCERT textbooks as they will help you build your base and also brush up your basics. So, carefully cover all the topics of NCERT books.
2. Develop speed and accuracy skills: Since VITEEE tests students on their speed and analytical abilities, you must give special attention to your speed in working out the problems while preparing for this entrance exam. It is good if you try to lay out your own strategy to clear the exam. So, improve your speed and accuracy skills. Also, try to master your analytical skills.
3. Practice solving model question papers with a stop clock: Practice as many model question papers as you can but solve each question within a fixed time frame. This will build up your confidence, enhance your knowledge and increase your speed. Also, by solving model question papers, you will get an idea about the exam pattern.
4. Develop and brush up your thinking skills: In order to attain a real good score in VITEEE, you need to be a good thinker as most of the questions in this exam examine your thinking abilities. You need to think as an engineer to crack the exam.

8.Do not take too much of stress (Stress Management): Try to stay calm in all kinds of situations so that you could concentrate better while preparing for the exam.
9. Make a Schedule: Lay out a plan according to your strengths and weaknesses because planned study always give better results. Also, you will be able to understand fundamentals better by making a proper study schedule.
10. Sleep Enough and spare time for recreational activities: Get enough sleep as this will make your brain more alert! Also, spare good time for recreational activities to freshen up your mind as a fresh mind can grasp more and at a high speed.

For the General AI category, the round 1 cutoff ranged from 50000 to 100000. Hence, the highest rank acceptable was 100000. Please know that other categories, rounds, etc., will have different cutoffs.
