Yes,  MIT School of Food Technology does offers BTech Lateral Entry course. The cousre is offers direct admission to the second year of the regualar BTech course. BTech Lateral Entry course lasts for three years unlike the four-year full-time course. 

Aspirants seeking admission to BTech Lateral Entry course must pass a Diploma in Engineering with 60% aggregate or its equivalent (50% aggregate for reserved category). As per the selection process for this course, the university selects candidates based on their merit obtained in the last qualifying exam, followed by a Statement of Purpose (500 words). This course is offered across the same specialisations namely Computer Science and Engineering, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Bioengineering, Mechanical Engineering, etc.

Yes, there are scholarships for the Scheduled Caste Category students at Gurugram University. The university offers Post Matric Scholarship Scheme of GOI for welfare of candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste Category. As per letter No.3/44-2012 Sch. (2) dated 18.06.2013 of the Director General Higher Education, Haryana, Panchkula, students, whose parents/guardian income is upto INR 2.50 Lacs per annum, are eligible for the scholarship.

The scholarshisp offers students include enrollment/registration, tuition, games, union, library, magazine, Medical Examination and such other fees compulsorily payable by the student to the institution or University/Board. Refundable deposit like caution money, security deposit are, however, excluded. For students admitted under this scheme, the application form has to be submitted by the students to the concerned Chairperson/Director of the Department/ Institute.

RGPV is a state technological university located in Madhya Pradesh. The university offers more than top 20 specialisations in BTech, whereas DAVV offers 15+ specialisations. The total seat intake for BTech is much greater in RGPV, which is 55,980 (inclusive the seat intake of all affiliated colleges), whereas a total of 780 seats are available at DAVV for BTech course. As per the placement records of the year, the Median package at RGPV stood at INR 3.50 LPA and for DAVV, it stood at NR 6 LPA. Candidates can choose among both the university based on the location, placements and the seats available in their desired course.
