JEE Main 2026 Session 2 exam takes place in the month of April every year. Whereas, the application form for Session 2 will be available on the JEE Mains website. The exam is conducted by NTA.

The total fee for BTech range from INR 4.5 lakh -INR 36 lakh. The fee is calculated based on the semester fee.  Admission to BTech course is based on LPUNEST or CUET UG score. After completion of the selection rounds, shortlisted aspirants need to pay the course fee to confirm their admission. Candidates are first required to register with an application fee for LPUNEST. The exam fee for LPUNEST is INR 1,000 for males and INR 500 for females.

Mechanical Engineering and Aerospace Engineering are two different fields of study at the Manipal Institute of Technology. Aerospace Engineering covers aeronautical and astronautical aspects, while Mechanical Engineering is one of the oldest branches of Engineering that deals with machines and devices. MIT is a good college when it comes to placements for Mechanical Engineering students. Approximately 70-80% of students normally get placed with an average salary package. On the other hand, when it comes to Aerospace Engineering, only 50-60% of the students got placed. The fee structure for BTech in both the sub-streams remains the same I. e. , INR 3.35 Lacs for the first year and INR 4.57 Lacs for the remaining years. The Aerospace Engineering programme is a 4-year undergraduate course that requires a minimum eligibility of Class 12 examination with Science subjects such as Biology Maths and Chemistry.

 The department of Aeronautical and Automobile Engineering at MIT was established in 2008 and offers two undergraduate programs and four postgraduate programs. The department has state-of-the-art infrastructure including an autoclave, flight simulator, low subsonic wind tunnel, advanced composites lab, computation lab, gas turbine testing rig, avionics lab, and Trinidad TB 20 aircraft.

In contrast, the Mechanical Engineering programme at MIT is also a 4-year undergraduate course that requires minimum eligibility of Class 12 examination with Science subjects such as Biology Maths and Chemistry. The testimonials of alumni suggest that the recruiting companies are good for Mechanical Engineering graduates like TCS, Wipro, Accenture, Infosys, Ashok Leyland, Cummins, Vedanta, and John Deere among others. It is difficult to compare both the sub-streams because the focus and the curriculum for both of them vary. Therefore, students can select any of the sub-streams depending on their interests and aptitude.

NIT Manipur JEE Main cutoff 2025 has been released for admission to the BTech and Integrated BTech courses for multiple All India categories.

For the General AI category, the cutoff for the BTech + MTech CSE course ranged from 42737 to 537200. As per this range the most competitive affiliated college was Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology.

Kalasalingam University BTech Admission 2023: Eligibility & Fees

Total fee: INR 4 Lacs - INR 5 lakh

Selection criteria: Kalasalingam Engineering Entrance Exam (KEEE)

Eligibility: A pass in Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/ Biology with at least 50% aggregate is required to apply for the BTech course. Candidates appearing in MPC are eligible to apply for all the BTech courses.

Candidates appearing in BPC are eligible to apply only for BTech Biotechnology and BTech Food Technology.

Students holding high school Diploma issued by Northwest Accreditation Commission– US (NWAC-US) are eligible by providing an equivalent certificate issued by the association of Indian University (AIU) for BTech courses.

IIIT Allahabad accpets JEE Main score for admission to the BTech courses. As per the IIIT Allahabad cutoff 2023, the Last Round closing rank for BTech ranged between 5924 and 9558, among which Information Technology was the most competitive specialisation. The Round 1 closing rank for BTech ranged between 4817 and 8428 for BTech. 

So, considering the previous year Round 1 and the Last Round closing ranks, candidates seeking admission to IIIT Allahabad must secure a rank over and above 4800 and 9600 for the General ALL India category candidates.

The opening and closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For General category under All India, opening rank was 30764 and closing rank was 43910. Cut off are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. In All India, opening and closing rank for female candidates was 38673 and 60348. Admission to BTech in Civil Engineering in VNIT Nagpur is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam JEE. Yes, JEE Mains is a compulsory entrance exam to secure admissions at NIT Patna. Candidates will be alloted seats to the BTech course during the JoSAA counseling on the basis of JEE Mains scores secured for that academic year at NIT Patna.

No other entrance exam scores are accepted for NIT Patna BTech admissions.

The BTech programme of Manipal University Jaipur is available by taking Manipal Entrance Test (MET). The four-year undergraduate course gives 18 specialisation under the Faculty of Engineering. In order to gain admission, the candidates should fulfill the eligibility criteria, which are successful completion of Class 12 or equivalent with an overall aggregate of 60 marks.
