JAC Chandigarh Application Form 2026: Registration Link, Documents Needed, Eligibility, Fees

JAC or Joint Admission Committee conducts admissions to BE, BArch, Integrated BE (Chemical), MBA courses offered by the institutes listed below in Chandigarh based on JEE Main scores and pass percentage secured in Class XII or equivalent examination.

The eligibility for JAC Chandigarh 2026 counselling is as follows:

Academic Qualifications:

• Candidates must have a valid JEE Main 2026 result (percentile and rank).
• Subject combinations required in the qualifying examination for admission to BE/BArch/Integrated BE (Chemical) - MBA courses under JAC-2026 shall be as under:

BE / Integrated BE (Chemical) - MBA

• All India Rank prepared by National Testing Agency (NTA) based on the score in JEE Main 2026 Paper 1 for BE/BTech
• Passed 10+2/equivalent examination with 5 subjects
  • Language (Hindi/ English/Punjabi/ Any Other Language)
  • Physics
  • Mathematics
  • Any one of the Chemistry / Biology / Biotechnology / Technical Vocational Subjects
  • Any other subject

OR

• Passed 10+3 Diploma with Mathematics as a compulsory subject.

BArch

• All India Rank prepared by National Testing Agency (NTA) based on the score in JEE (Main)-2026 Paper 2A (B. Architecture).
• Passed 10+2 scheme of examination with at least 50% marks in the subjects: Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics and also 50% in aggregate of 5 subjects.

Or

• Passed 10+3 Diploma examination with Mathematics as a compulsory subject with at least 50 % marks in aggregate.

The candidates have to pay an application fee to complete the JAC Chandigarh application process.

During JAC Chandigarh 2026 application form filling, candidates are required to furnish following information and upload relevant documents:

• Category (General, General-EWS, BC, SC, ST).
• Sub-category (ies) as appearing on registration form.
• Document for total marks obtained in various subjects of qualifying examination (i.e. 10+2 examination) as per eligibility criteria.
• Document for place of school from where candidate has appeared for qualifying examination (Chandigarh/ Outside Chandigarh).

Below is the detailed process to apply for JAC Chandihtah counselling:

Authentication of JEE Main details:

Eligible candidates will authenticate themselves by providing the following five parameters

• JEE Main 2026 Application Number
• Candidate’s Name
• Mother’s Name
• Date of Birth

Enter registration information:

After successful authentication, the candidate will create his/ her login credentials (JEE Main Application Number shall be the login ID, and the candidate should create a password) and provide contact information (i.e., Email id and Mobile number).

After a successful login, the page containing his/her basic information including All India Rank will be displayed in read-only mode. Candidates are required to complete the following activities:

All candidates are required to fill out the Online Registration Form. During Form filling, candidates are required to furnish the following information and upload the relevant documents:
i. Category (General, General-EWS, BC, SC, ST).
ii. Sub-categories as appearing on the registration form.
iii. Total marks obtained in various subjects of the qualifying examination (i.e. 10+2 examination) as per the eligibility criteria mentioned and the maximum marks.
iv. Place of the school from where the candidate has appeared for the qualifying examination (Chandigarh/ Outside Chandigarh).

Pay JAC Chandigarh Registration-cum-Counselling Fee

• After successfully submitting the registration form, the candidates must pay a one-time Registration Fee (Non-Refundable) through Debit Card/ Credit Card/Internet banking/e-Challan.

To pay the fee, aspirants will have to enter their JEE (Main) Roll No, Mobile No, and E-Mail ID. The fee can be paid in any of the following ways:

Upload documents for online verification

• Candidates are required to upload one set of self-attested photocopies of all supporting documents/certificates during online registration.
• After document verification, candidates will not be allowed to make any changes. Failure to upload the supporting document of a particular category will debar the candidate for that particular category. All the certificates/affidavits claiming reservations under various categories must have been issued. 
• All the certificates/affidavit(s) claiming reservation under various categories before the first round of counselling must have been issued not later than the deadline set by the authorities for claiming reservation under various categories.

Online choice filling

• All registered candidates must submit their choices of Institute and Branch in order of their preference.
• Candidates are required to submit a single set of combined choices for Engineering & Architecture streams if they are eligible for both streams.
• Candidates can fill in as many choices in the order of preference as they wish, from the list of available choices.
