AMET 2023 will likely be conducted in the first week of March 2023. The exam will be conducted in computer-based test mode. The AMET application forms 2023 will release on October 1, 2022. Students who wish to appear for the AMET MBA 2023 exam can fill out the AMET application form online. 

What is AMET?

Amrita MBA Entrance Test (AMET) is a national-level management entrance exam conducted by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham for admission to MBA programmes offered at Amrita School of Business at Amaravati, Amritapuri, Bengaluru, Coimbatore and Kochi campuses. The eligible students who wish to study MBA at Amrita School of Business can also avail up to 100 per cent scholarships. Apart from Amrita MET (AMET),  the university also accepts CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT and NMAT scores for admission to its MBA programme. 

AMET 2023 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for AMET 2023 is as follows:

  • The candidate must hold a bachelor's degree from a recognised institute.
  • The candidate must have secured at least 50 per cent aggregate in Class 10, Class 12 and graduation. 
  • The candidate in the final year of graduation can also apply, subject to completion of their exam, if any, before June 30, 2021. 
  • Candidates having a valid test score of CAT/ XAT/ MAT/ CMAT/ GMAT/ GRE can apply with the test registration number.
  • Department of Management, Kochi and Amritapuri (Kollam) campuses accept valid KMAT scores.
  • Candidates with work experience will be preferred.

AMET 2023: Admission Process

Step 1: AMET application form

Candidates who wish to appear for AMET need to register on the official website of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham for the exam. The application form can be filled out online only and must be submitted before the last date of registration. Candidates must check the eligibility criteria before appearing for the exam.

The application fee for the same can be paid online only using a credit card, debit card or net banking. The application fee is different for different categories.

Step 2: Download the AMET admit card

Candidates who successfully register for the AMET exam must download their admit cards from the official website of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. Candidates can download their admit cards by entering their login credentials.

Step 3: Appear for the AMET exam

AMET exam will likely be conducted in the first week of March 2023, in the computer-based test mode. Registered candidates will be assessed on Quantitative Ability, Logical and Analytical Ability, Verbal Ability and General Awareness of the candidates. 

Step 4: Check AMET Result

Applicants can check their AMET result 202 on the official website. Candidates can check their scorecards and download the same online using their login credentials.

Q: Can I apply for AMET more than once a year in case I miss the first exam?

A: No, AMET is conducted only once a year. 

Q: I belong to the SC category. Do I have to fill out a different application form?

A: No, the AMET application form is the same for all the candidates. They have to choose the category they belong to and provide the supporting documents at the time of admission. 

Q: Will I receive the AMET result through the post?

A: AMET results will be available online only. No hard copy of the AMET exam scorecard will be sent to any candidate.

Q: Can the AMET application fee be refunded?

A: No, the application fee once paid cannot be refunded under any circumstances.

Q: Do I have to carry any id proof to the exam center?

A: Yes, applicants must carry one valid ID proof (Voter ID, Aadhar Card, Driving License or Passport) along with their admit cards. These documents are mandatory to be carried to the AMET exam center.
