The National Law University Delhi has extended the AILET 2026 application window to 13-Nov-2025, 11:59 PM. The exam will be conducted for admission to BA LLB and LLM courses at NLU Delhi. Candidates who have still not applied must hurry up to avoid missing the AILET 2026 application deadline.
AILET 2026 Registration- The applicants interested to appear in the AILET 2026 exam and still not registered for the exam will have to complete their application form before the last date, 13-Nov-2025, 11:59 PM. The last date of AILET application fee payment and application correction is 14-Nov-2025, 8 AM. However, the candidates who have already applied will be given the opportunity to check and edit their application forms during the AILET 2026 Application Correction Window.
The AILET exam 2026 is a national level entrance exam conducted for admission to the BA LLB and LLM courses offered at the NLU Delhi. The All India Law Entrance Test (AILET 2026) is scheduled to be held on 14-December-2025. Candidates who successfully register for the exam will be issued the AILET 2026 admit card a few days before the exam which will allow the entry to the exam hall.
How to Register for AILET 2026?
Follow the below given process to register for the exam,
- Visit, nationallawuniversitydelhi.in.
- Click on the tab 'Register as a New User'.
- On the new webpage, enter your name, email address, applicant type and click on Register.
- The username and password to access the AILET 2026 portal will be sent to your Email ID.
- Login using the credentials sent over the email, create a new password.
- Now login again and select the course you wish to apply.
- Fill the application form with personal and qualifying exam details along with the communication details.
- Select the test city preferences and upload the scanned signature and photograph
- Make the fee payment and submit the application form after checking the information entered.

AILET Tie-Breaking Method 2026
Following criteria will be adopted for tie breaking-- If two or more candidates get the same marks at the All India Law Entrance Test (AILET), their merit will be determined based on higher marks in the section on LOGICAL REASONING in the AILET 2026.
- If the merit is still the same, then the candidate senior in age shall get preference. If there is still no change in merit, then a computerized draw of lots shall be taken into consideration.

AILET Eligibility Criteria 2026
Candidates applying for undergraduate or postgraduate courses will have to fulfill the eligibility criteria for the AILET exam as under:
- Candidates should have obtained the minimum qualifying marks.
- If candidates are applying under a reserved category, then they should have a certificate issued by the competent authority stating the same.

AILET PG Eligibility Criteria 2026
- To apply for LLM program entrance exam, candidates must have attained their LLB degree or an equivalent law degree with a minimum 50% scores from a recognized institute.
- However, SC/ST/PwD category candidates must score a minimum 45% aggregate score in their LLB course.
- Candidates who are appearing for their final year/semester of their LLB program are also eligible to appear for the AILET exam.
- There is no age limit to take up the AILET exam.

No. One cant change the AILET Exam centre once the application form is submitted online. Candidates have to choose options of exam centre while applying for the exam. The exam centre option is filled during the final registration for AILET. Candidates can declare maximum 3 options for exam centre. AILET will let candidates know about name and address of exam centre through the admit card. The admit card for AILET has to be carried to the exam centre else candidates will not be allowed to enter the examination hall.
