RRB Kolkata Group D Result Announced
Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) released the scorecard for the RRB Group D CBT exam taken to sort out the candidates for PET (Physical Efficiency Test) on December 27, 2022. The candidates can download the RRB Group D Kolkata scorecard till January 1, 2023. The scorecard comprises the marks that have been scored by the candidates in the CBT exam. Earlier, the RRB Group D Kolkata result was announced on December 22, 2022. RRB Group D is a national-level exam conducted by the RRBs on behalf of the Railway Recruitment Cells (RRC). The RRB Kolkata Group D 2022 exam was carried out between August 17, 2022, to October 11, 2022. The candidates who have qualified for the RRB CBT 1 exam will be moved forward for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) which will be held from January 12, 2023. However, the dates for PET are different for all the regions.
Yes, RRB Group D result is declared after the marks of the candidates are normalised using the equi-percentile method. The percentile score of each candidate is converted by RRBs into normalised marks by interpolation of the raw marks into the base shift. The calculation of base shift is done using the standard mathematical formula of interpolation. The purpose of interpolation of the raw marks into the base shift is done to decide the minimum qualifying marks as well as give weightage in marks to CCAA candidates.
RRB Group D scorecard is released along with the result. Candidates need to download their scorecard by logging into their accounts with user ID and password. The scorecard display details such as candidate's name, roll number, registration number, raw score, pro-rata score, normalised score and qualifying status.
