Banasthali University Aptitude Test 2026: Banasthali University application form for BTech admission will be released tentatively in the first week of February, 2026. The forms will be available online on the official website of the university - banasthali.org as well as offline at the university campus/DD. Candidates interested in Banasthali University BTech admission can apply online/offline once the registration starts. Selection of candidates will be through Banasthali University Aptitude Test (BUAT). The schedule of registration and BUAT 2026 exam date will be released soon on the official website. BUAT 2026 is likely to be held in June last week

The BUAT 2026 question paper for BTech admission will have four sections: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Logical Reasoning. The question paper will have a total 100 questions of 1 marks each - 20 questions each from Physics, Chemistry, Logical Reasoning and 40 questions from Mathematics. The duration of exam will be 2 hours 30 minutes. There will be negative marking of 1/4th marks for every incorrect answer

What is Banasthali University Aptitude Test?

Banasthali Vidyapeeth, commonly known as Banasthali University, is the world's largest fully residential, women-only university offering education from Nursery to PhD. It offers courses in various disciplines like BTech (CSE/EC/EI/EE/IT/BT/CE/MT), BPharm, MSc (Biotechnology), MBA, BDes, BEd, MA in Textile Designing, MTech (CS/VLSI/IT), MPhil and MA (English)/MA (Music)/MA (Drawing & Painting) with special emphasis in providing holistic education through physical, practical, aesthetic, intellectual, and moral development of students. 

The university conducts entrance exam called Banasthali University Aptitude Test (BUAT) for admission in Diploma in Engineering, BTech/BPharm, BSc-BEd (Integrated), B.A-BEd (Integrated), BSc (Nursing), MBA, MTech-Integrated and LLM programs. The exam is held in online mode in the Banasthali Vidyapith campus.

Admissions to Banasthali Vidyapith are open to only women aspirants irrespective of their race, religion, caste, colour or domicile. The Banasthali University aptitude test is held online. Since 2021, the exam has been revamped to be held in online mode using mobile phone, desktop/laptop with webcam and the headset/earphone. Candidates can take the exam from their respective residences.

The eligibility for BUAT for BTech admission is 60 percent aggregate in 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM). For SC/ ST candidates the minimum eligibility is 40 percent aggregate.
