The JEE Main 2026 application form correction facility will be provided from December 1 to 2 to rectify any mistakes in the form. The form correction window will be activated on the website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. Check how to modify details in the application form. Candidates can modify details in their filled application form during the correction window.

JEE Main Correction Window 2026: NTA has announced the JEE Main 2026 form correction date as December 1 to 2, 2025. The JEE Main Form correction 2026 link will be available at jeemain.nta.nic.in. Candidates can change/modify details in the filled JEE Main application form 2026 by logging in to the website using their application number and password. NTA also sends emails/messages to candidates for JEE Main Form Correction 2026 whose application forms require correction. 

During the JEE Main 2026 application correction facility, various information filled in by the candidates in the form can be modified. Candidates need to use the JEE Main 2026 login window on the official website and log in using their application number and password to make changes. Q:   What should I do if I am not able to pay the fee for the JEE Main 2026 application form?
A:

Candidates can face difficulty in payment of application fees due to various reasons like

  • Slower internet connection while paying fees
  • Slow bank server
  • Insufficient balance in bank

In case any candiate faces issues while trying to pay JEE Main application fees, they should try paying the fees after some time. Candidates can also try logging out the application form process once and then try paying application fee again after logging in. If the situation still persists, students can contact NTA JEE Main helpline number.

Q:   What is Aadhar Enrollment Number used in JEE Main Application Form?
A:

Aadhar enrollment number is a unique number which students can find in the acknowledgement receipt received at the time of applying for Aadhar. Students should know that Aadhar enrollment number is not same as Aadhar number. At the time of filling JEE Main application form, candidates have to fill Aadhar Enrollment number and not Aadhar number.

In case candidates do not have Aadhar enrollment number, students can apply through Passport, PAN or ABC ID (Academic Bank of Credit ID). 

Q:   When will JEE Main 2026 Registration start?
A:

JEE Main Registration 2026 has started on October 31, 2025. JEE Main 2026 application form is available online onthe website jeemain.nta.nic.in. The information brochure for JEE Main 2026 exam has also been released on October 31.

To use JEE Mains correction in application form 2026, follow the steps given here

  • Open JEE Main official website - jeemain.nta.nic.in
  • Click on "Registered Candidate Login" link
  • Enter your application number and password/date of birth

JEE Main Application Form Correction: Important Point

JEE Main form correction facility is a one-time facility extended to the candidates to avoid any hardship to them. The candidates are advised to do the correction very carefully, as no second opportunity for correction will be given to the candidates. 

Important Instructions for Filling JEE Main Application Form 2026

Candidates must ensure they follow the instructions given here while applying for the exam

  • Read all the instructions given in the information brochure for filling the form.
  • Fill all the information correctly, carefully examining the spelling errors, if any.
  • Pay special attention to those details while filling the form that can not be changed.

Images and Documents Guidelines

  • A colour or black & white photo can be used. The candidates are allowed to have spectacles in the photograph. Sunglasses and caps are not allowed.
  • Unclear photos will not be accepted. The uploaded photo should be clear and adhere to the recommended file size and format as specified in the guidelines provided by NTA.
  • The signature should be clearly done on white paper. The size and format of the uploaded signature should comply with the guidelines.
  • The documents uploaded should be of the size and format prescribed by the NTA.

Q:   Do I need to send the printout of JEE Main application form to NTA office?
A:

No, candidates are not required to send the prinout of JEE Main application form 2026 to the NTA office. Candidates have to fill and submit the application form online only. However, it is advised that candidates download, take a printout of their filled application form and keept it safe until the completion of admission process. JEE Main 2026 application form copy might be required at the time of counselling/admission process in the institute. 

Q:   Can I fill JEE Main application form 2026 offline?
A:

No, JEE Main application form can only be filled online. The application form of JEE Main is released only in online mode on the website jeemain.nta.ac.in. There is no option of filling the application form in offline mode. Candidates who do not have a laptop/personal computer can visit the computer centre/common service centres to fill the application form. While filling the JEE Main 2026 application form, candidates will also have to upload scanned image of their photo and signature. Candidates belonging to reserved category (Gen-EWS/SC/ST/OBC-NCL) also need to upload the category certificate.

Q:   Can I upload black & White photo in JEE Main application form?
A:

Yes, candidates can upload black & white photograph in JEE Mains application form. There is no restriction on the type of photograph. The conditions that candidates need to fulfill for uploading the photograph are

  • Photograph should be in JPEG/JPG format
  • Dimention has to be 3.5 cm x 4.5 cm
  • Size has to be 10 KB to 200 KB

Also, the photograph should be clear with white background. The candidates are allowed to have spectacles in the photograph but sunglasses and caps are not allowed. JEE Main application form 2024 will be released in December.
