Maharashtra Common Entrance Test or MAH CET for MBA/MMS, conducted by the State Entrance Test Cell, is one of the popular state level management exams. This exam is conducted annually for admission to over 350 MBA colleges in Maharashtra. Since MAH MBA CET is a state level exam, preference is given to candidates belonging to Maharashtra. However, MBA aspirants from the rest of India are also eligible for admission. It is in fact, a preferred choice of many candidates from rest of India because of Maharashtra cities like Mumbai, Pune and Nagpur are considered the hub of Management education.

Following the MAH MBA CET 2026 result announcement the CET Cell will conduct Centralised Admission Process (CAP) for admission (expected in July).

Q:   For how long is MAH CET score valid for admission?
A:

Those who have appeared for MAH CET 2024, can seek admission to participating colleges this year only (2024-25 batch) Candidates who will appear in MAH MBA CET 2025, their scores will be valid for admission to 2025-2026 batch of MBA programmes only. Those who wish to take a break of one year will have to appear for the exam again.

It is good to take a break and appear for the MAH CET exam next year again instead of taking admission in a college that is not of your choice. If you’ve scored below expectation in the current attempt, skip the year, prepare for the exam again, score better the next year and pursue MBA from a college that meets all your parameters.

Q:   Should I join KBS for MMS?
A:

Kohinoor Business School offers two courses to candidates. It provides placements as well as exposure to candidates. Though, it's important to consider other factors like infrastructure, faculty, curriculum, fees structure, etc. while taking admission. Candidates can visit the campus or check alumni/student reviews.

Q:   Is MMS at Kohinoor Business School better than GNIMS Mumbai?
A:

Both GNIMS Mumbai and Kohinoor Business School (KBS) are prestigious schools that provide Master of Management Studies (MMS) programmes. Since each has distinct advantages and methods, it is difficult to compare them directly. Strong academic credentials are shared by KBS and GNIMS Mumbai. While GNIMS Bombay is renowned for its strict academic standards and emphasis on theoretical foundations, KBS is known for its industry-oriented curriculum and emphasis on practical applications.

A history of successful placements has been maintained by both universities. Top recruiters Capgemini, ICICI Bank, and Amul India are among KBS's top employers, offering average pay packages of about INR 6.25 LPA to MMS graduates. Top recruiters like Accenture, Wipro, and Deloitte provide typical remuneration packages of about INR 5.5 LPA at GNIMS Mumbai. MAH CET, CAT, and XAT results are among the entry tests that KBS accepts. Majority of MAH CET marks are accepted by GNIMS Mumbai.

The lively business atmosphere of Mumbai is introduced to students by KBS, which is situated in the city's commercial centre. The more serene study atmosphere of GNIMS Mumbai is provided by its location in a more sedate suburban region.Your personal priorities and tastes will ultimately determine which of KBS and GNIMS Mumbai you choose.
