IIT Kanpur started the online application form of GATE 2023 on August 30, 2022 which will end on September 30, 2022 without late fee and on October 7, 2022 with a late fee amount of INR 500. An all-India examination, GATE is conducted for admission to the ME/MTech programme of IITs, NITs and various other institutes in India. Apart from that, GATE scorecard is also considered by the PSUs for the recruitment of suitable candidates for the different job roles. So, the scorecard holds a lot of importance for a candidate who holds an undergraduate degree in technical education. GATE 2023 is jointly conducted by the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore (IISc) and seven Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Madras and IIT Roorkee). Aspirants with GATE scores can get admission in M.Tech programme at IIIT Pune. The seats are allotted via CCMT Counselling. In 2025, the closing GATE cutoff was 354 for Electronics & Communication Engineering and 536 for CSE. The cutoffs are quite competitive considering the limited seats available

The JNU M.Tech cutoff 2025 for the OBC AI category varied from 338 to 529 for the M.Tech CSE and M.Tech ECE courses. In the last round, MTech CSE came out as the more competitive course, with the cutoff being 443.
