JEE Advanced 2017 cut- off is expected to be lower this year. According to FIITJEE expert, Ramesh Batlish, the cut-off for 15000 rank could be around 120 marks. The overall JEE Advanced 2017 cut-off for merit list may be below 100 as only 1.7 lakh students appeared for the exam.
Sharing his views on the same, another FIITJEE expert, R.L.Trikha said, “Prima facie this year cut-offs per subject and overall are expected to be around 10 % per subject & around 35 % overall like 2014 as against 10% per subject & 20 % overall in 2016; 7% per subject & 24.5% overall in 2015”. No, your candidature will be rejected as you need to have minimum of 75% in class 12 to be eligible for admisison to the IITs, NIT, IIITs and GFTIs via the JoSAA counselling. Even if you pass JEE Advanced and JEE Main, of you do not have 75% minimum marks in class 12 boards you will no get admission
