JEE Advanced 2020 admit card: Know details like download steps, documents to carry with the JEE Advanced admit card, and important dates for it from the article below.

JEE Advanced 2020 Admit Card – Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi will release the JEE Advanced 2020 admit card tentatively in the second week of May. Only the candidates who complete their registration within will only be allowed to access the admit card of JEE Advanced 2020 online. To download the admit card, candidates have to provide their registration number, date of birth, mobile number and email ID.

JEE Advanced 2020 will be conducted by IIT Delhi on May 17, 2020, through computer-based mode. All eligible candidates will be issued an admit card online to appear for the exam. JEE advanced 2020 admit card will consist of Information such as the venue address, timings, and date. Jee Advanced admit card is a mandatory document to appear for the exam as, without it, candidates will not be allowed to appear for the exam. Moreover, admit card must be kept safe even after the exam as it is an important document for JEE Advanced 2020 counselling and other processes related to admission. Being an important document, candidates must preserve their JEE Advanced Admit card 2020 safe and should take at least two printouts of it. All applicants must keep in mind that the JEE Advanced admit card will not be sent by post or any other means.

There will be no separate admit card issued for Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT).

The original admit card must be provided by the candidates whenever asked for the same at the exam centre. Top 2,50,000 candidates who qualify JEE Main 2020 will only be allowed to download the admit card only after registering successfully for JEE advanced 2020.

How to Download JEE Advanced Admit Card

It is expected that the exam conducting authorities will release the JEE Advanced 2020 admit card in the second week of May at the online registration portal. Candidates can go through the steps below to download the JEE Advanced admit card:

  1. Visit the official website- www.jeeadv.ac.in.
  2. JEE Advanced Admit Card will be available on the candidates’ portal.
  3. Enter Registration Number, Date of Birth, Email ID and Phone Number.
  4. Download JEE Advanced Admit Card and take its print out.

In case a candidate faces a problem in downloading the admit card for JEE Advanced 2020, he/she should immediately contact the respective zonal coordinating IIT.

JEE Advanced 2020 admit card: Points to remember

  • Candidates must produce a copy of the downloaded JEE Advanced admit card at the time of the online exam.
  • The original JEE Advanced 2020 admit card will be issued to respective candidates during Paper 1 of the exam.
  • The original admit card must be retained safely till the completion of admission formalities.
  • Admit card is for verification of candidates only and NOT an admission ticket to the IITs or any other institute.
  • Candidates will not be allowed to enter the exam hall without the admit card of JEE Advanced 2020.
  • Candidates must also bring identity card with the print out of admit cards.

Discrepancy in JEE Advanced Admit Card

No, your candidature will be rejected as you need to have minimum of 75% in class 12 to be eligible for admisison to the IITs, NIT, IIITs and GFTIs via the JoSAA counselling.
