JEE Main 2020 Paper 2 Analysis by FIITJEE has been released. Candidates who have appeared in JEE Main 2020 paper 2 can check the analysis by FIITJEE. JEE Main 2020 Paper 2 morning shift was held from 9 am to 12 pm while the evening shift is being held from 3 pm to 6:30 pm. With the help of JEE Main 2020 exam analysis by FIITJEE, aspirants will get an understanding of the number of questions asked from different subjects. JEE Main 2020 Paper 2 Exam Guidelines

  • Students were not allowed to carry anything inside the examination hall except their admit card and undertaking, ballpoint pen, transparent water bottle, identity proof and passport size photo.
  • Metal detectors were used from distance at the entry gate and no bags or wristwatches were allowed inside.
  • Students reported that entry started at 8 am
  • Social distancing was maintained at most of the test centres

JEE Main 2020 Paper 2 Analysis

  • The full marks of the JEE Main Paper-2 were 400
  • The level of difficultly was easy as compared to the January session of JEE Main Paper 2 as per feedback from students
  • This time there was no biometric attendance at the entry gate, instead, a team of four invigilators came to each student during the exam for verification

  • Took a photo of the student  and scanned the JEE Main 2020 admit card from a distance

  • The BArch and Bplanning were held in separate buildings

    There were no errors reported in the first shift exam

  • According to the students, proper social distancing was followed

Mathematics: The Mathematics section was of easy to moderate level. Questions in this section were evenly distributed and asked from all the chapters including Co-ordinate Geometry, Calculus & Algebra. Some of the questions in the section required lengthy calculations.

Physics: The Physics section was moderate to difficult. Numerical based questions were tougher than the MCQs. A good number of questions were asked from the NCERT books.

Chemistry: Chemistry section questions were also easy to moderate level. The questions were evenly distributed among Physical, Inorganic & Organic chemistry. Few of the questions were lengthy. This section also had some questions directly from NCERT.

JEE Main 2020 Paper 2 Section Wise Analysis by FIITJEE - Shift 1 (September 1)

Overall, the JEE Main 2020 Paper 2 was of Easy level as per students compared to JEE Main 2020 January session. Students were given enough plain papers for rough work.

Mathematics

The difficulty level of the Mathematics section was easy to moderate level. Numerical based questions were lengthy compared to Jan session of the same paper as questions involved calculations. All chapters covered in calculus and coordinate geometry.

Aptitude Test

This section could be easily attempted by the candidates.

Drawing Section

The difficulty level of this section was easy. One question involved drawing an aesthetic composition using rectangles and the other was any one of Highway scene or Portrait of your favourite Teacher.

JEE Main 2019 Analysis by FIITJEE

According to students, there were no changes in the pattern of Paper -2 of JEE Main 2019 compared to previous years. The paper was divided into three parts :

First question was of 30 marks and remaining two of 20 marks each.

Overall JEE Main 2019 Paper 2 was easy to moderate level. As compared to last year, the paper was easy to moderate level as per students. There were no errors or technical glitches, as reported by candidates.

JEE Main 2019 Paper 2 Analysis for Aptitude Section

In the Aptitude Section,  there were questions on identifying the top view, front view of 3 dimensional objects/shapes, identifying mirror images, there were  10-15 questions on general knowledge like full form of NASA/ISRO and also location of places with architectural importance.

JEE Main 2019 Paper 2 Analysis for Drawing Section

In JEE Main 2019 Paper 2 Drawing Section, the first question had three parts and students had to attempt ANY ONE out of the below options. This question was of 30 marks.

  1. The first question was to design the curtain of small girl’s room.
  2. The second question was to sketch your favourite film actor
  3. The third was to sketch the scene of people sitting around a bonfire.

In the second question of 20 marks students, a square design was given and students had to draw the same by drawing the replica to double its size. While in the third question of 20 marks, students had to draw a square with random designs using curved lines & colour.

No. The JEE Mains emphasizes on deep knowledge and quote challenging with negative marking whereas KCET is moderately difficult which emphasizes on direct factual questions with no negative markings.

Yes. Students with valid JEE Main scores can apply for admissions through the WBJEE counselling. However, these students will be eligible for allotment only in the 10% approved seats offered by the self-financing colleges and institutes participating in the state-level counselling.

Yes the SRMJEEE paper pattern is similar to JEE Main however, the difficulty level is not equivalent to JEE main and the question paper is adjusted to moderate level difficulty level which will be easy for most students.
