The same thing goes with competitive exams or real-life scenarios. The competition nowadays for prestigious universities is cut-throat so you have to make sure to bring your A-game to the JEE Advanced exam.
For achieving that level of mastery you need to inculcate the expert level of subject knowledge with a profound understanding of certain topics such as rotational dynamics, RC circuits and Kirchhoff law, nodal plane analysis, nuclear and atomic physics to name a few.
Subjects such as Mathematics and Chemistry require thorough insights on matrices and determinants, probability, the theory of equations, complex numbers. Vectors and third geometry, complete calculus & chemical bonding, chemical kinetics and nuclear chemistry, thermodynamics and thermochemistry to name a few.
The results might not entice many aspirants to apply for lower-level IITs or to comply with the JEE Main scorecard. However, trying it would not bring the guarantee of making it to the topmost IITs.
That is where your scorecard comes along if there are no major tweaking required with the improvement of JEE Advanced marks then further preparation is a great strategy.
While there are many positive aspects of NITs, many NITs held a topmost ranking among IITs, so considering JEE Main scorecard can be a viable and profound option. NITs like Warangal, Trichy, and Rourkela continues to dominate the university rankings with admirable placements scenarios and offering of dual-degrees.
On a positive nuance, there is no shortage of students who have taken drop year for extra preparation and achieved higher rank and a better college. The outcome lies with the mindset that you carry after the results are out. So never underestimate, the potential one whole year can bring.
Counselling with peers, mentors, experts in the academic zone can provide a ton of insights with future aspects of joining any university.
