Here are a couple of do’s and don’ts for VITEEE 2018 that you need to follow while taking the exam.

VITEEE 2018 exam has commenced from April 4 and will continue till April 15, 2018.  And it’s high time that you completed preparing for the exam and started with the revision of the entire syllabus.

However, it is not only about preparing well, you need to follow certain norms while you are at the examination venue. So, here are a couple of do’s and don’ts for VITEEE(VIT Engineering Entrance Examination) 2018 that you need to follow and keep in mind while taking the examination without any glitches.

Do’s for the VITEEE 2018 candidates

1. You must arrive at the exam centre as per the reporting time given in the admit card.

2. You must report to the selected exam centre with all the important documents such as your:

a) E-admit card

b) Scanned application form and

c) Photo identification card such as your passport, Voter ID card, Driving License, IT Pan card, etc.

3. As soon as you reach, register your name at the registration centre. You will be required to present your e-admit card and a photo ID proof for identification during the registration process.

4. You must sit only in the seat allotted to you.

5. You must maintain complete silence and concentrate on your paper only.

6. You must check that you have filled in all the details (name, exam roll. no. etc.) carefully.

7. You must put your signature on the attendance sheet in the presence of the invigilator.

8. Raise your hand in case you have a query or need anything (water, stationery, etc.).

9. You must submit your test booklet with the invigilator before you exit the test hall.

10.   You must do the rough work only in the space provided for the same.

Don’ts for VITEEE 2018 candidates

1. Make sure that you do not carry bits of paper, any type of textual material, or any material other than your e-admit card inside the exam hall.

2.Also make sure that you do not take along with you any type of electronic device such as a calculator, mobile phone, music system, or spy camera inside the exam hall.

3.You must not break the seal of the test booklet without the permission of the invigilator.

4. You must not write anything on your question paper.

5. You must not go out of the test hall till the conclusion of the entire duration of the exam time.

6. You must not look here and there during the test.

7. You must not carry anything to eat or drink (tea, coffee snacks, soft drinks, etc.) inside the exam hall.

8. You must not talk to any test taker during the exam.

9. You must not take out any paper from the test booklet as it may lead to your disqualification from the test.

10.You must not cause disturbance during the exam or noise while you are leaving the test hall.

Lastly, do not get too hyper, keep calm and you are going to perform just fine in your exam!

There are approximately 130 test cities for Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Exam in India. Candidates can select only test city during registration process.

Students can select only one exam centre/ test city during VITEEE registration. The test city once selected cannot be changed or edited. Final selection of the VITEEE exam date and time will be done at the time of slot booking.

VITEEE slot booking is expected to start in April (second week). Students who complete the slot booking process will be able to download their admit card and appear for the entrance exam.

Students can check VITEEE entrance exam date on its official website. Also, students who have done VIT BTech slot booking and received admit card can check their specific allotted exam date. The VIT entrance exam date and time will be mentioned in VITEEE hall ticket.

As for now, there are no changes made in VITEEE exam dates. According to authorities, VITEEE will be tentatively conducted from April 28 to May 3. Official updates will be done on the official website.
