Newton NSAT 2025: Exam Dates, Application Form, Eligibility, Syllabus, Results

Newton Scholastic and Aptitude Test (NSAT) is the entrance exam conducted by Newton School of Technology for admission to BTech courses. NSAT is conducted in different phases. The Newton SAT exam lasts for three hours. Following this, a Group Discussion (GD) session is held to evaluate candidates, and those selected will move forward to the final admission process at the Newton School of Technology.

Newton SAT is conducted in an online mode. Students can appear for tests virtually from their PC/Laptop on a chrome browser. The candidates must appear for the test from a quiet location without any background noise. The test would be proctored via webcam & microphone. NSAT question paper includes 80 questions covering English, Mathematics, and General Aptitude.

The eligibility criteria to appear for NSAT are that they must have completed Class 12th with PCM in 2023, 2024 or 2025 from a recognised board and secured more than 50 %. To get admission in the BTech course in Newton School of Technology, the applicants must have secured a minimum score in each section of the NSAT. Later, the applicants must clear the online interview.

Newton SAT is currently available for round 2. The last date to apply for NSAT is April 12, 2025. The application process incorporates several stages: fee payments, registration, filling application forms, uploading required documents and final submission. Step 1: Visit the Newton School of Technology official website, www.newtonschool.co/newton-school-of-technology.

Step 2: Click on the “Apply Now” link provided on the homepage.

Step 3: Pay the application fee of INR 1200.

Step 4: Fill in all the necessary details on the NSAT application form.

Step 5: Upload the necessary documents.

Step 6: Submit the NSAT 2024 application form and take a printout for future reference.

Step 1: Fill out the application form by including your personal, academic and extracurricular information as per requirements. The NSAT application form must be submitted before the last date.

Step 2: Take the NSAT Entrance test. The NSAT exam will include sessions like English, Mathematics and General Aptitude.

Step 3: The candidates must participate in the offline interview and group discussion rounds.

Step 4:  On clearing the rounds, receive an admission letter from Newton School of Technology.

Step 5: The candidates must block the seat by paying the fee on the dates specified.

The NSAT syllabus includes topics and chapters that are included while preparing the question paper. It is strongly advised to check all the topics included in the Newton SAT syllabus before starting the preparation. Adequate knowledge of the syllabus will help candidates in devising a concrete preparation strategy. The NSAT 2025 syllabus will include topics from Mathematics, General Aptitude and English. The topics included in Mathematics are topics from Class 10 Mathematics like Number system - LCM, HCF, Divisibility, Arithmetic - Ratios, Averages, Percentages, Algebra - Polynomials, Inequalities, linear equations, Applied mathematics - Speed, Profit & loss, Interest, etc. The topics included from Class 12 are Sets, Functions, PnC, Sequences & series, Differentiation & integration, Matrices & Determinants, Probability & Statistics.

NSAT entrance exam focuses on three key subjects:

English: Tests the basic communication skills.

General Aptitude: Most important section evaluating logical reasoning and aptitude skills.

Mathematics: Questions are based on the Class 12 & Class 10 Mathematics syllabus
