What is IBSAT?

IBS Aptitude Test (IBSAT) is a national-level entrance exam conducted by IBS Hyderabad for admission to MBA/PGPM offered by IBS campuses.  IBSAT scores are accepted by nine ICFAI Business Schools (IBS)- IBS Hyderabad, IBS Mumbai, IBS Bengaluru, IBS Pune, IBS Gurgaon, IBS Kolkata, IBS Ahmedabad, IBS Jaipur, and IBS Dehradun. No, there is no negative marking in IBSAT exam. IBSAT question paper will consist of 140 question of one mark each. Candidates will given two hours to attempt 140 MCQs. IBSAT 2026 selection rounds will be conducted for shortlisted candidates in February 2027. IBSAT or IBS Aptitude Test is a national-level entrance exam conducted by ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education (deemed to be University) for admission to MBA programme. However, it is not compulsory to appear for IBSAT. Candidates who have appeared for CAT/ NMAT/ GMAT/ XAT and scored well can also get admission to IBS Hyderabad MBA programme. 

IBSAT is a two-hour Computer-based test (CBT) comprising multiple-choice questions. IBSAT is a computer-based test that is generally conducted over a window of two days in December.

Candidates seeking admission to MBA/PGDM programme of IBS campuses must appear for IBSAT or have obtained score in national level examination conducted for MBA admissions.

Q:   What should I do incase of discrepancy in IBSAT admit card?
A: 

Incase if any discrepancy or mismatch in IBSAT admit card details in comparison to the actual document will lead to disqualification of the candidate for future IBSAT examination process. Still, if candidates find any discrepancy in IBSAT 2026 admit card they must immediately contact at the helpline number of the ICFAI Business School (IBS). Candidates will be required to submit the valid supporting documents to get the details rectified. ICFAI Business School helpdesk number- + 91–040–2344 0963/62/61/60. Candidates must follow the instructions as guided by the authorities to modify the details in the IBSAT 2026 admit card.
