- NIRF shows that the legacy reputation of some IIMs has remained among the top 3 MBA colleges in India. The shift in 2025 brought IIT Delhi to position 4. It can be a better option than IIM Calcutta, which held its spot two years back. The IIT Delhi fee for MBA is half of the IIMs as well. This is a significant choice when considering tech and analyst roles, or even going for higher studies in research. At the same time, IIM C is still better for a consultant career, if you look at the IIM Calcutta placements records.
- Similarly, IIM Mumbai (formerly NITIE Mumbai, and the 21st IIM of India) has remained in the same position in the last two years. Graduation outcome-wise, IIM Mumbai placement in 2025 was higher (INR 54 LPA as the highest) than that of IIM Ahmedabad and IIM Bangalore.
