CG PET 2026 Counselling: Dates, Choice Filling, Seat Allotment, Admission Process

The CG PET counselling fee is INR 300. All students will have to pay the counselling fee while they are registering for the same. The fee has to be paid online, i.e., through net banking/credit card/debit card. Offline fee payment will not be accepted.

Yes. CG PET counselling is conducted as an online process. The qualified candidates will have to register for the counselling process and select their choice of colleges and courses in the order of preferences. CG PET seat allotment result will also be announced online.

The authorities are expected to conduct four rounds of CG PET counselling. For every round, the students will be able to register and choose/modify their course and college choices. The details of the CG PET counselling rounds will be released at the official website.

After allotment, students will have to verify their documents at allotted centres to confirm CG PET admission. Some important documents that have to be verified are the 10^th and 12^th class marksheets, CG PET/JEE Main score card, category certificate, domicile certificate, etc.

For CG PET admission, students should have passed 12th class qualifying entrance examination with Maths, Physics and Chemistry. A minimum of 45% marks should have been scored in exam. For reserved category, minimum marks is 40%.

In case two or more candidates secure same CG PET score, then tie breaking guidelines are followed by authorities. Based on their performance in the 12^th class examination, students will be ranked to break tie.

JEE Main scores will be accepted for CG PET admission. Students with a valid JEE Main score do not have to attempt the CG PET exam but can directly register for the counselling process. Selection will be done based on rank, eligibility and preferences.

CG PET result will be released online. Candidates can check result link at official website. To download result of CG PET, students will have to log in using their registered mobile number and password. No other mode will be used to declare result.

The authorities will not accept any requests to review the CG PET result. The students cannot raise any requests to the authorities to review their scores. In case of issues with other information in the result, the students can contact the authorities.

Through CG PET result, students can check their obtained marks and ranks in examination. Along with scores and ranks, their other information such as name, roll number, subjects, contact details and more will also be available in result.
