SAAT 2026: Shiksha o Anusandhan (Deemed University) is currently accepting application forms for the SAAT entrance test 2026. The Siksha 'O' Anushandhan University conducts SAAT exam for admission to various undergraduate courses. The exam is held in multiple phases. SAAT exam dates will be announced soon by the authorities. The exam will be conducted online in CBT mode. In SAAT question paper, 120 questions are asked for a total of 120 marks. The duration of the exam is 3 hours. All SAAT-qualified candidates will be called for counselling.

What is SAAT exam?

SAAT exam is organized by the admission authority of Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan Deemed to be University. The entrance exam is conducted online for admission to various UG & PG courses of Engineering, Pharmacy, Nursing, Agriculture, Law, Management, and Hotel Management. SAAT is a national-level University entrance exam. Admission to the engineering program will be based on performance in JEE Main 2026 and SAAT 2026. Whereas, admission to the dental & medical programs will be based on the NEET scorecard.

SAAT 2026 Eligibility Criteria

The SOA publishes the eligibility criteria on the official website. Candidates must fulfill the eligibility criteria to fill out the SAAT application form 2026. The eligibility criteria for the SAAT exam are given below;

  • Passed Class 12 from recognized Board of India.
  • Must have Physics and Mathematics as the main subjects with one of the subjects from Chemistry /Biology /Biotechnology /Informatics /Information Technology /Computer Science /Statistics /Technical Vocational subject in Class 12th.
  • The minimum passing marks required are 45% and 40% for the reserved category.

Rules of SAAT 2026 Exam

Candidates must check the following rules before appearing for SAAT 2026.

  • SAAT 2026 online exam will be conducted at the exam centres on the dates specified.
  • The medium of the exam is only English.
  • Candidates can enter the exam hall half an hour before the exam commences.
  • No candidate will be allowed to enter the SAAT 2026 exam hall without a valid admit card and original ID proof submitted at the time of application.
  • Candidates must sit in the respective seats at least 15 minutes before the exam begins, strictly following the seating chart notified by the Centre Superintendent.
  • Candidates will not be allowed inside the hall after the SAAT exam starts.
  • Candidate must sign with their full signature in the Attendance Roll sheets provided by the Director (Admissions), against their Roll Numbers, 15 minutes before the commencement of the exam.
  • Candidates must not carry mobile phones, pagers, palm tops, Bluetooth devices, or any electronic device which has the potential of misuse in cheating or unauthorised communication during the examination.
  • At the registration desk, the identity of the candidate will be verified, the SAAT 2026 Hall Ticket will be scanned, photograph will be captured. For rough work, a blank sheet will be provided. All rough work needs to be done on a blank sheet only.
  • No candidate will be allowed to leave the hall until the exam is over.
  • Candidates are not permitted to talk to each other in the exam hall
  • Malpractice in any form detected during or after the examination will lead to not only cancellation of candidature but also more severe punishment as deemed fit by the SAAT 2026 committee.
  • A candidate wishing to say anything must stand up in the seat and remain standing till the invigilator attends. Candidates must not, in any case, leave the seat or make any noise to draw the invigilator’s attention.
  • In any other matter not mentioned in these rules, the Centre Superintendent is empowered to take necessary decisions.

Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan will conduct SAAT 2026 counselling online. Candidates have to register separately for the SAAT counselling process. All SAAT-qualified candidates will participate in the SAAT 2026 counselling process. Candidates will need the following documents during the SAAT 2026 counselling process:

SAAT exam is conducted for a total of 480 marks. There will be 40 questions from Physics, 40 questions from Chemistry and 40 questions from Mathematics. Each section is for 160 marks.
