TANCET 2024 Counselling for Special Reservation Categories Today; Check Details Here
The Government College of Technology, Coimbatore, is set to conduct TANCET counselling for differently abled categories today, July 29, at its campus offline. Eligible candidates as per TANCET differently abled rank lists can appear for the counselling process. As many as 28 candidates are eligible for the TN MBA/MCA admissions through special reservation counselling. Out of these 17 candidates are eligible for the MBA course, while 11 are eligible for the MCA admissions through TANCET.
Five per cent of government quota seats for MBA and MCA programs in Tamil Nadu will be reserved for differently abled candidates. Aspirants claiming this reservation must obtain a certificate from their district's Medical Board detailing the type and extent of their disability as a percentage, along with a declaration of their suitability for MBA and MCA course.

GCT will publish the total seats left for admission of unreserved categories after the TANCET counselling for special reservation categories is completed. TANCET general counselling for MCA course will commence on July 31, while the counselling for MBA course will commence from August 5.

Directorate of Technical Education, Chennai, conducts TANCET counselling online. However, the TANCET supplementary counselling will be conducted offline. Besides the supplementary counselling, the graded convertion counselling will also be held in an offline mode.
