Maths Course admission 2026: Registration, Dates, Exams

Mathematics admission 2025 will be based on both merit and entrance procedures. The eligibility criteria is to pass class 12 in the Science stream with PCM as core subjects with a minimum 50% aggregate from a recognized board. Mathematics admission is generally based on merit scores.

Mathematics Admission 2025

Mathematics Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for Mathematics courses may differ depending on the course level as well as the individual colleges' requirements. However, some basic requirements every candidate has to fulfil are:

Undergraduate/UG Diploma	Pass Class 12 in the Science stream (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics) subjects, With a minimum of 50-60% aggregate score from a recognised board.
Postgraduate/PG Diploma	A bachelor's degree in BSc Mathematics or any relevant discipline, With a minimum of 50-60% aggregate score from a recognised university.
Doctorate	A master's degree in MSc Mathematics or any relevant discipline, With a minimum of 50-60% aggregate score from a UGC-approved university.

• There is no age limit prescribed as such. 
• 5% relaxation is granted for reserved classes such as SC/ST/OBC etc. (may vary).
