IMU CET 2026 Result: IMU will soon declare the IMU CET result online on the official website. Candidates will be provided the link to check the IMU CET 2026 rank on this page. The IMU CET result is made available as a rank list for UG, MBA, and MTech courses separately. Rank certificates have now also been published under the respective logins of the candidates. To access the IMU CET rank card/result of IMU CET 2026, the candidates have to log in using the required credentials - application number and password. Also, once the result is declared, automated emails/SMS are sent to every registered applicant. Candidates are advised to keep the downloaded result of IMU CET 2026 safe for the counselling and admission process. Only qualified candidates can participate in the IMU CET counselling process. Q:   Is there any reservation in the IMU CET exam?
A: 

Yes, SC/ST candidates get concessions in registration fees, and age relaxation is provided for OBC and SC/ST categories students. Reservations include 15% for SC, 7.5% for ST, 27% for OBC (non-creamy layer), and 10% for General-EWS. IMU also has a special state reservation scheme 

For NCC cadet students, they can get mark concessions: 5% for the 'C' certificate, 3% for the 'B' certificate, and 2% for the 'A' certificate

The IMU-CET counselling process is the process of getting admission to the IMU campuses in India.

How will the IMU CET 2026 Result Prepared?

The marks of the candidates in the IMU CET result are based on the marking scheme of the exam. Candidates are awarded marks as prescribed in the exam marking scheme for correct answers, and a negative marking of 0.25 marks is done for any wrong answer. In this manner, the total score of the candidates is calculated in the exam. The candidates are then ranked based on the marks they scored.

After the declaration of the IMU CET result, shortlisted candidates are called to appear in the counselling. Candidates have to go through the various stages of the counselling process, which are registration, choice filling, seat allotment, document verification, fee payment, etc. Registration for IMU CET 2026 counselling is also made available online.

IMU conducts online counselling ONLY for admission to its Six Campuses. Candidates desirous of getting admission to Affiliated Institutes of IMU / other DGS-approved Maritime Training Institutes (MTIs) affiliated to other universities may directly approach the College / Institutes of their choice after obtaining a rank certificate issued by IMU.

The University offers Tamil Nadu BC/MBC Scholarship of amount ranging from

Rs.50,000 - Rs.60,000 and Maritime Training Trust (MTT) scholarship for Indian women seafarers for amount of Rs.1,00,000.

Scholarship 2
