GAT 2026 Selection Criteria
The GAT selection process consists of an entrance exam, a personal interview, and counselling. Candidates are selected for admission to GITAM University in selected courses by following the GAT selection criteria as mentioned here.
- Candidates are shortlisted for the personal interview round based on their scores in the admission test. Participants with low admission test scores or poor applications are rejected.
- The shortlisted candidates are then screened in a Personal Interview and other qualitative parameters.
Note: Candidates having a valid score in any of the examination scores- MAT, GMAT, CAT, XAT, ATMA, CMAT, or NMAT for MBA admissions are exempted from taking GAT.

GITAM University will announce GAT result 2027 for each phase after the exam is administered. Candidates who will take the exam on D-day will be able to download the scorecard upon its release. In order to download the scorecard, candidates will have to enter their login details on the result link. Shortlisted candidates will be called for group discussion and personal interview round based on which their final admission decision will be made.

GAT 2027 results will be announced phase wise soon after the exam is conducted. The GAT 2027 scorecard will be available for download on the official website- gat.gitam.edu, for a limited period. Candidates must obtain their GAT mark sheets within the time limit, as admission will be granted to those who present the mark sheet at the time of Counselling. Yes, GITAM offers scholarships based on the GAT rank or score or national or state entrance test scores or ranks as per GITAM's scholarship policy. This scholarship is applicable only for the first year, and to avail of the same scholarship for the subsequent years of study, candidates should score a CGPA of 8.0 and above in the qualifying examination. Scholarships are offered on a first-come, first-served basis, and seats under the scholarship quota are limited.
