Candidates preparing to appear for GAT 2026 exam must check the latest and updated syllabus for BBA and MBA. According to GAT exam pattern released by the university, the BBA and MBA exams are conducted in online mode. Candidates get 150 minutes to complete their exam (for BBA and MBA). Q:   What is GAT marking scheme?

As per the GITAM Management Admission Test (GAT) marking scheme, for every correct answer candidate will get one mark. There will be negative marking for wrong answers. For every wrong answer 1/3 of the mark will be deducted. There will be no negative marking for not attempted questions. As per the GAT 2026 exam pattern, the question paper will consist of 200 multiple-choice questions (MCQs), of one mark each. There will be no sectional time limit. Candidates can start answering from any section they are comfortable with. The GAT BBA exam is conducted for a duration of 60 minutes.

The last date to apply for GAT exam 2026 has been announced. Aspirants can submit the online GAT 2026 application form online till prescribed date at gitam.edu. Registered candidates will also be able to download the GAT 2026 admit card when released. Candidates will not be permitted to take the exam without registration and an admit card. Q:   What is full form of GAT?

The full form for GITAM GAT is GITAM Admission Test. It is an management entrance test conducted by Gandhian Institute of Technology and Management (GITAM) for admission to MBA/PGDM programe of GITAM School of Business. Candidates seeking admision to Post graduate programe of GITAM must appear for the exam. Candidates having valid score in national level management entrance exams like CAT, XAT, MAT, CMAT, etc. will be exemted from taking the GITAM GAT exam. Candidates will be required to fill the application form to be eligible for appearing in group discussion and personal interview rounds. GITAM GAT is conducted in multiple sessions in a year. Candidates can chose the date of examination as per their convenience.

Candidates had to choose a correct answer among the four options provided. There will be a negative marking for wrong answers of 1/3 marks. Candidates wothout GAT admit card will not be permitted to enter the GAT exam centre.
