Gitam Admission Test 2026 ( GAT )
GAT exam for BBA and MBA admission is conducted multiple times in a year. Interested candidates must thoroughly understand the GAT exam pattern 2026 before starting their exam preparation. Gitam Institute of Technology prescribes GAT 2026 exam pattern and includes questions in multiple-choice format. It has remained unchanged for the last few years. The GAT 2026 question paper for BBA will be divided into four sections namely, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning & Intelligence, and General Knowledge. The GAT question paper for MBA will comprise four sections, namely English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning & Intelligence and Data Interpretation. The GAT 2026 schedule will be announced in December 2025. Candidates can check the phase-wise GAT 2026 exam dates.
GAT 2026 exam will be held in multiple sessions. Candidates who will register for the exam will be able to appear for the GAT exam. The examination for GITAM (Deemed to be University) UG and PG admissions will be held in computer based mode. Candidates will have to report to the allotted exam centre. GAT exam is codncuted for a duration of 60 minutes. As per the GAT exam pattern, the question paper consists of 200 multiple-choice questions. Candidates had to choose a correct answer among the four options provided. There will be a negative marking for wrong answers of 1/3 marks. Candidates wothout GAT admit card will not be permitted to enter the GAT exam centre.
The full form for GITAM GAT is GITAM Admission Test. It is an management entrance test conducted by Gandhian Institute of Technology and Management (GITAM) for admission to MBA/PGDM programe of GITAM School of Business. Candidates seeking admision to Post graduate programe of GITAM must appear for the exam. Candidates having valid score in national level management entrance exams like CAT, XAT, MAT, CMAT, etc. will be exemted from taking the GITAM GAT exam. Candidates will be required to fill the application form to be eligible for appearing in group discussion and personal interview rounds. GITAM GAT is conducted in multiple sessions in a year. Candidates can chose the date of examination as per their convenience.

As per the GAT exam pattern there is no sectional time limit. GAT BBA question paper will consist of four sections, namely:
- English Language
- Quantitative Aptitude
- Reasoning and Intelligence
- General Knowledge
Candidates will be required to attempt all four sections within the given time duration. GAT exam is conducted for a duration of 60 minutes or one hour. GAT sections will consist of 100 questions in total. Candidates must device strategy to attempt maximum questions within the given time duration.
As per the latest GAT MBA exam pattern 2026, the question paper will be divided into three sections:

- Two marks will be awarded for a correct answer

- The difficulty level of questions is usually easy to moderate
- The exam duration for MBA entrance is 90 minutes, whereas the exam duration for BBA is 60 minutes
