BITSAT Marking Scheme
BITSAT follows a negative marking system. Candidates receive three marks for every correct answer, while one mark is deducted for every incorrect response. The marking scheme is as follows:
| Response |

| Correct answer |
+3 |
| Incorrect answer |
-1 |
| Unattempted question |
0 |
Is there Negative Marking for Unattempted Questions in BITSAT?
There is no penalty for leaving a question unanswered. Therefore, candidates should avoid random guessing, as incorrect answers can reduce their overall scores. Leaving a question unanswered will cause no harm, rather than marking an incorrect answer.
