The new exam dates for JEE Main 2021 is likely to be announced within this week or lately by the upcoming week, as reported by the Times Now. The decision of JEE Main 2021 exam date will be made after a review meeting, which is most likely to be held in a week or two. As per the report, “the government will soon conduct a meeting to review the situations for organizing the remaining two editions of JEE Main 2021. As CBSE class 12 board exams have been cancelled, this will bring more clarity on deciding the schedule of JEE Main 2021”.
National Testing Agency has already notified that the rescheduling of dates for both April and May sessions of JEE Main 2021 will be done subsequently. Students will be informed about the new dates at least 15 days before the commencement of exams. NTA also advised students to keep practicing for the upcoming exams using the mock tests on National Test Abhyas app. Considering the situations, it is likely that the JEE Main 2021 April and May exams will be conducted in July-August.

The JEE Main 2021 April and May exams were postponed due to COVID-19 pandemic. The April exam was scheduled to be held on from 27 to 30 April while the May exam was to be conducted from 24 to 28 May, 2021. The February and March session of JEE Main 2021 has been successfully conducted. The total no of candidates appeared in JEE Main 2021 Feb and March edition is around 12 lakh with more than 10 lakh to appear in the upcoming two sessions.
The officials of the Minstry of Education is holding a review meeting today, June 7, with the Vice Chancellors of various Central Universities for discussing the road-map of organizing the Cental Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET). Key decisions like admission process, dates and schedule is likely to be announced for the university admission after the meeting.
