JEE Main 2023: The students want the first JEE Main 2023 session to be held in April. They claim the gap between the JEE Main exam and Board exam practicals is very less, making it difficult for them to give their best as both are crucial exams.

Even though the National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the JEE Main 2023 exam dates, the news has not gone down well with aspirants. With JEE Main 2023 Session 1 scheduled between January 24 and 31, several students have taken to Twitter seeking a change in the dates for the exam. The students claim that the gap between the JEE Main exam and Board exam practicals is very less, making it difficult for them to give their best as both are crucial exams.

This is unfair for all students.” Expressing disappointment the JEE Main exam schedule, a Twitter user wrote, “Every time the Schedule of #JEEMains Examination creates a situation of anxiety & cause a lot of mental stress for the Aspirants. #JEEMains2023 Session-1 Should be conducted in April, Not in Jan. #jeemainsinapril #JEEMain2023 @DG_NTA @EduMinOfIndia #JEE2023 @Official_AISU.” Below are some of the reactions.
As per the NTA exam calendar, JEE Main 2023 Session 1 will be held on January 24, 25, 27, 28, 29, 30 and 31, 2023, whereas JEE Main 2023 Session 2 will be held on April 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12, 2023. Candidates can fill the application form online at jeemain.nta.nic.in. The last date to apply for session 1 is January 12. For session 2, the application form will be released on February 7.

Yes. Students with valid JEE Main scores can apply for admissions through the WBJEE counselling. However, these students will be eligible for allotment only in the 10% approved seats offered by the self-financing colleges and institutes participating in the state-level counselling.

Yes the SRMJEEE paper pattern is similar to JEE Main however, the difficulty level is not equivalent to JEE main and the question paper is adjusted to moderate level difficulty level which will be easy for most students.
